Chapter 4:~Memory blocking~

Alvina sat in her bed in her infirmary room and  looked at the marks that show up on her arms when they weren't hidden.
And suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
And Alvina looked up,
"Who is it?,"
"It's me, Alec,"Alec said.
"Come in,"Alvina replied.
And Alec and Magnus entered the room.
Alvina quickly looked up at Magnus in fear,
"What is he doing here?,"
"It's okay, Alvina,"Alec assured her,
"He's not going to hurt you. You trust me, right?,"
Alvina nodded slowly,
"I trust you,"
Alec smiled,"I trust Magnus, I know he's not going to harm you,"
"What do you think of taking a walk? You've been here long enough,"
And he stretched out his hand to her,
"Do you trust me?,"
And Alvina smiled,"Yes,"
And she took Alec's hand and Izzy took her to her room to find some new clothes. And they left.

~A while later~

Alvina walked through a park together with Alec, Magnus, Izzy, Clary and Jace.
"I assume had a past before I lost my memories that included you,"Alvina said and looked at the others.
Alec nodded,"You had,"
"But we hasn't known you for that long. Magnus has known you since you were a baby. He raised you,"
Alvina looked at him confused,
"But that's not possible. I grow up in the system,"
And Magnus felt his heart break again. The one who took her memories had also changed her whole childhood to think she was an orphan.
And they sat down in the park.
"Tell us about how you grow up,"Izzy begged,
"How did you find out you were an angel?,"
And Alvina sighed,
"I was abandoned on the side of a freeway. Ended up in the foster system and had I family until I was three. And then they sent me back. I remember the look I had, the despair. Just a lost little girl... Who didn't matter... And didn't think she ever would... A little girl who... cried herself to sleep at night 'cause... She wanted her parents so bad... And could never understand... Why they give her up,"
"And when you found out who you really was... It was too late,"Izzy finished.
"Is just that... Right now...,"Alvina continued,
"I don't feel like... An angel or saviour... I just feel like... What I've always been... An orphan,"
Alec turned to Magnus,
"Does anyone else know that she has lost her memory?,"
Magnus nodded,"Everyone in the realm of the dead knowns. The whole shadowworld knows unfortunately,"
And Alvina stood up.
"We better get back to The Alicante institute. It's not safe for you out here,"Alec explained.
And Alvina nodded.

But suddenly, they heard strange sounds. And Alec, Jace, Clary and Isabelle took out their weapons.
And a man who had spied on them run away.
"Hey! Stop!," Alvina yelled.
And she run after the man.
"Here we go again,"Alec sighed.
"Don't ruin the fun, big brother,"Izzy said.
And they run after Alvina.

Alvina run through the park and got the person to the ground.
And Alvina pulled a bit of her golden blonde hair behind her hair.
And the others came running.
"Alvina!,"Izzy yelled.
And Alvina swallowed as she looked up at Robin,
"No... Robin?,"
"Alvina,"Robin smiled.
And they stood up,
"I don't understand. They said you were in care because you've lost your memories. What are you doing here?,"
"What am I doing here!?," Alvina asked.
"Yeah,"Robin replied.
"I'm not answering anything until you tell me the truth,"Alvina explained,
"Was your mother Carmalisa a demon?,"
"What are you talking about? You were the only one who knew that I was a warlock. Who's Carmalisa?,"Robin asked.
"You played me... You knew I was part god/part angel...," Alvina began,
"Both you and James played me!,"
"What are you talking about? How told you this?,"Robin asked.
"Your mother! Carmalisa!," Alvina exclaimed.
"She's in the realm of the dead?,"Robin asked.
"Why else would I tell you this now?," Alvina asked.
"You brought her to me! Why would you do that!?,"Robin exclaimed.
"Hey! I'm the only one allowed to be angry here!," Alvina exclaimed,
"Did you and James know? Did you know the whole time what I was!? Where I was from the whole time!? Was it just some sicknesses plan!? Did you even care about me at all!? I wanna know! I want the truth! All of it!,"
"Hey! Okay!,"Robin said,
"There's a place down the street. We can talk there!,"
"I am not drinking with you! Whatever you're gonna tell me! Tell me now!," Alvina exclaimed.
And Robin sighed,
"Since you've lost your memory, this may sounds weird but... Your father Magnus Bane was a good friend of James mother. You and James played together as kids. Then, you spend the rest of your 8 years getting to know your ladies from The realm of the dead. Then, you left your father when you were 16 years old to marry James. The rest of the story you might remember yourself,"

And Alvina became quiet for a moment when a memory of her as a little girl when she played with James showed up in her head.

Alvina and James run up the stairs in the castle in The far away Kingdom.
And they stopped in the middle of the stairs. And 6 year old Alvina whispered something in James ear,
"Let's see where your mother has her jewellery,"

The memory disappeared. And Alvina looked up at Robin,
"Whatever way you're trying to trick me, I won't believe it! Magnus Bane isn't my adoptive father! That has never happened!,"
And she turned to leave.
"Alvina, we should get back to The Alicante institute. You're not safe here,"Magnus explained.
And Alvina looked up at him angrily,
"I'm tired of you trying to protect me! You're not my father! I am your Queen! I need to be alone! And I warn you: Do not test my power, and do not attempt my fury!,"
And she left.
And Alec sighed,
"Hey, Magnus, she will remember you, I promise,"
Maybe it's time for Alvina to meet Richard again. His love for her can be a great advantage to get her memories back,"Izzy suggested.
Alec smiled,"Good plan, sister. It's worth a try,"
And they went after Alvina.
