i wasn't lazy
but i just couldn't bring myself to get out of bed
as waking up was already tiring enough
nobody could understand how hard i was trying
but i can't.
the weight of my thoughts holding me back down as i fight to get up
until eventually i stopped fighting
and so i'll lay here until i draw my last breath.
