Immediately after Luke Montgomery and Christian Day are partnered up in physics class, there is a chemical reaction, as Luke finds himself seeking to improve his grades and push forward in his senior year. What he didn't expect was how quickly he'd start to find himself attracted to Christian. As they spend more time together, Luke begins to realize that his feelings for Christian are more than just admiration. He starts to understand that he has developed a romantic attraction towards him, something that he never expected or thought possible.

**** A/N: Originally, this story was posted two (or three) years ago. It was a train wreck. (It probably still be.) The original story had no plotlines that made sense, and it was as cliche as could be. So before making another attempt at this story, I had to think about how I wanted Luke's story to (re)happen. Scrapping (and keeping) what I remembered from the original story, I remembered Luke didn't get a chance to explain why his parents didn't accept him as being himself. This go-round, I hope to do better. Therefore this is why I kept Luke and gave him an all-new story with Christian.
Like the previous story, there will be mentions of homophobia, language, teen drinking, mentions of religion, typos, cute text messages, as well as possible sexual themes. Though there's one name mentioned in the story who is a real person, their name in the story is however fictionalized, as well as Ember River.
