"You can't blame me! There's a beautiful stranger in my house!

"Hmm, Alydia. Do you know that Alydia means a little winged noble girl having a unique vision and investigative in nature?" he tried to strike a conversation again.

"I didn't know you're this quiet," he pointed out when he noticed my silence.

"Maybe because I don't know you?" I replied.

He chuckled until it turns into a roar of laughter.

"Of course, the mighty Summer Alydia," he said with a hint of mockery after his laugh.

"Everett or you can call me Elle," he said as he extends his arm to shake hands with me.

I only looked at his hand and smiled. I stood up and continue cleaning the table.

"Sungit," I heard him whisper that made me laugh mentally.

After the table, I also started cleaning the picture frames. They look expensive as hell.

There are pictures of Everett, picture of tito Edgardo, a picture of a child holding a fish hat he caught given the fish rod he's holding, probably the young Everett. He looks adorable on the picture. There's also a wedding picture of, I'm guessing, his parents.

He smirked at me when he saw me looking at him. The nerve!

I sighed. This is the last chore I have to do. I can finally rest. What a tiring day for a first day. Well, better than the work I first thought of.

"Oh, you can cook?" napatalon ako sa gulat nang may mag tanong gilid ko. He even laughed at my reaction.

Asungot. Bigla na lang sumusulpot. Hmp!

"Medyo," I politely answered. I'm not in the mood to talk to someone.
