Buuuuttt... I've been waiting to tell you all something I noticed for a long time.
If you shine a bright light in Mando's helmet (which happens once), you can see through the visor and down to his face.
For example, Chapter 4: Sanctuary, 26:32

You can see, when the bright AT-ST floodlight shines directly on his helmet, that he is squinting his eyes, his nose is pressed against the visor, and is mouth is scrunched upwards (in sort of a grimace-smile) to squint at the bright light with his eyes.
At many other points throughout this episode (and other chapters), you can see light through the visor at the very bottom.
Then again, Chapter 1, 32:55, you can see his face.

Also in Chapter 4: Sanctuary at 30:42, you can see Grogu's feet and they are quite knobbly.
