Back to Your POV:

I was at home in the kitchen, getting a bowl of ice cream, when I heard a knock on the door. I put my bowl down and opened the door. "Hey,". It was Daniel. I was surprised to see him here. I didn't know what to say. 

 "What are you doing here?" I said.
"I wanted to talk to you." 
"About what?" 
"I wanted to apologize for not talking to you. I was a jerk for leaving you. I'm really sorry. I hope you can forgive me."

I just stood there not knowing what I should do. "What happened? Did your friends leave you?" I crossed my arms. 
"No, I left them. Look, I know, you're probably upset with me, but I just want you to know that I really am sorry and if it's ok with you, I want to be friends with you, again." Daniel said. 

I really missed him. I did want to be friends again, but I was scared he was going to leave me again.
"I promise, this time I won't leave you." He says. It's like he read my mind. 
I looked at him, and smiled. I hugged him and he hugged back. 

"I'm sorry I left you," he said. "I was a real jerk." 
"Yes you were!" I laughed.
