Alby thought of all people, he saw you most in the newest greenie, Thomas. He had this weird determination to solve problems even though he knew just about nothing about the situation. It reminded Alby of your... creative input when it came to the Glade's problems. You didn't really fit in any particular job, but Alby had took pity on you and, sort of like Newt, you became a second hand person for him. Most of the time you just yelled at the annoying Gladers like Gally, but you thought your job was pretty fun.
