By the next Potions class, Malfoy was still very entertained by the fact that Harry had fallen off his broom because of a dementor.

In fact, he decided to send a flying origami crane to him (with a picture of Harry falling of his broom, of course,) during class.

But Ron, who was next to Harry, saw this, and flung a crocodile heart at him.

"I saw that, Weasley. 50 points from Gryffindor," scolded Professor Snape as he walked by their table.

Ron was furious, but Malfoy smirked at this.

He then made another crane, but this time sent it to Ed, who was across the room.

She didn't know who it was from at first, but decided to read it anyways.

Gryffindor just lost 50 points thanks to me, you're welcome.

D.M.

Malfoy knew she would appreciate this- she was just as competitive, if not more than, himself.

Ed smiled at his note, tucked it away, and continued working.

The school year was going by unbelievably fast- it was already the last weekend before the end of the fall term.

And to everyone's excitement, this also meant another trip to Hogsmeade.

Well, except for Harry.

"Staying here, Potter? Scared of passing the dementors?" Malfoy sneered while making his way out of the castle.

Harry turned red, but didn't say anything.

"The dementors send their love, Potter!" Malfoy snickered as he walked off with Crabbe and Goyle.

Eventually the students arrived at Hogsmeade, and were clearly enjoying themselves and the beautiful winter snow.

Ed and Malorie decided to go Honeydukes first, which had fizzing whizbees, Ed's favorite.

"Where should we go next?" Ed asked once they bought a bunch of candy.

"Umm... how about the Three Broomsticks? We can get some Butterbeer or something,"
Malorie suggested.

"Yeah, sure," Ed replied.

It was freezing outside, and a warm Butterbeer was just what she needed.

They soon made their way to the next shop, but Malfoy had other plans. He wanted to go to the Shrieking Shack- the most haunted place in all of Britain.

He was accompanied by Crabbe and Theodore Nott, but there were already other people when he got there.

It was Mudblood and Weasley.

"Well, well, look who's here," Malfoy began, which made them turn around sharply.

"You two shopping for your new dream home? Bit grand for you isn't it, Weasel Bee? Doesn't your family sleep in one room?" He taunted.

"Shut your mouth Malfoy," Ron snapped.

"Ooo, not very friendly. Boys, I think it's time we teach Weasel Bee how to respect his superiors," Malfoy smiled smugly as he slightly pulled on his jacket.

Hermione laughed ironically.

"I hope you don't mean yourself," she retorted.

"How dare you talk to me, you filthy little mudblood," he sneered.
