Chapter 11

ANASTASIA'S POV

I wake up with Kai by my side

"Drink this" Kai says smiling, passing me a cup of that red liquid again but this time it was lighter and warmer 

"Is this blood?" I asked him 

"What else would it be?"

"What happened?"

"Drink it now" 

"Okay fine" 

I drink the blood, handing the cup back to Kai who smiles 

"What?" I ask confused 

He lifts up his head a bit and points it towards the other side of the bed "He hasn't left all day" 

I slightly turn around and see Mattheo fast asleep next to me 

"What- all day?"

"Yes, all day, he said something like he wants to make sure your okay when you wake up"

"Oh okay well I'm fine so we should just let him sleep, come on"

We both stand up and Kai leaves so I could get changed. I put on some black joggers and a black vest, tying my hoodie around my waist. I walk out, back into my bedroom and turning the door handle when two strong arms wrap around my waist. 

"Well hello there sleepyhead" I say, turning round facing the messy haired boy 

"Hi, are you okay?" He says smiling 

I can hear his blood pumping around his body, it smells sweet but a little bit... sour?

"I'm okay, did Kai tell you what he got Klaus to do? Do you..." 

"Do I know that your a vampire? Yes, I do"

"Does it scare you?"

"That's only for me to know" He smiles almost smugly 

His pulse doesn't change, he's not scared. I smile back 

" I'm going out with Kai for a bit, do you want to come?"

"Um, sure, yeah let me just go get dressed and I'll meet you out there" Mattheo smiles and points to the door

"Okay, don't be too long"

"I won't" 

He walks into the bathroom and I hear the shower turn on so I walk into the living room seeing Kai waiting patiently, I tell him that Mattheo is coming so we both sit there waiting for him.
