chapter 47

anas pov

my mind is racing, i'm back in mattheos house, back in that basement by myself in the dark when i hear laughing all around me. suddenly i see a knife flying towards me, towards my stomach.

i wake up in a panic, sweat dripping off of my forehead, i look around my bedroom, giving my eyes time to adjust to the low light in the room. looking at the clock i see that its 3:47 in the morning,"what the fuckkk" i groan at myself

i hear footsteps coming towards me and then the bed dips down a bit and i feel a hand cup my face, the scent of cigarettes clouding my thoughts. 

"are you okay? i didn't wake you did i?" mattheo asks softly

"yeah i'm okay i just had a stupid fucking nightmare. why are you awake?" i reply

"couldn't sleep" he shrugs

i smile at him and take his face in my hands, kissing his head softly and then go to get up when his hands grip my waist, "where are you going?" he asks, holding onto me tightly

"downstairs, going to have a drink and a smoke, you coming with?" i say smiling

"uhm, of course" he smiles at me and lets me get up

i walk down the stairs trying to be as silent as possible as kai and blaise are still asleep in the living room.i then walk into the kitchen, grabbing two beers from the fridge and a packet of cigs from the kitchen side and spinning around to give a beer to mattheo, he takes it and smiles at me

i walk out the side door that leads to the garden, mattheo following behind me all the way. when we get outside, we walk towards to the patio chairs and table sitting down and taking a cig out of the packet each, lighting it and taking a puff.

"so why couldn't you sleep tonight?" i ask mattheo, taking a sip of my beer and putting it onto the table

"i dont know, i think theres just so much going on right now to even think about sleeping, you know?" he responds

"yeah i get it" i give him an understanding smile and he gives one back

we sit there in a comfortable silence, smoking and drinking whilst watching the stars together until we both decide to go back in. as we go back upstairs to my room mattheo picks up his phone and sees 7 missed calls from draco so he calls him back and he answers straight away

"oh fuck" mattheo mutters and hangs up the phone to run down the stairs, shouting at the boys to wake up

"what the fucks going on?" i say loudly enough so that he'll hear me over his shouting at the boys 

"don't worry, stay here and we'll be back, kai's staying with you" he says in a panic, slapping blaise in the chest and then hitting kai too. "guys they're there, they're at hogwarts! draco called me and told me that they're all there storming into the castle!" he shouts. 

after hearing that the two boys snap awake and stand up, kai immediately grabbing me and pulling me back as mattheo runs up to me and cups my face kissing me and then going back to blaise and grabbing his arm, both of them disappearing from our view
