kai gribs my arm and harshly drags me towards the kitchen

"what the fuck is going on!" i shout at him, completely confused by his worried expressions and silence

"the death-eaters are storming the school, going to kill everyone, or at least trying to" he answers sitting down at one of the stools around the counter

"what the fuckkkk! well what are we gonna do?!" i shout at him, waving my hands around in frustration

"nothing alright! you're gonna sit your ass down and wait" he replies, getting more infuriated by my questions, i mean what did he think i was going to do, not question it and sit here in silence? um no.

"i dont think so" i laugh at him, my voice still raised,"im going" i smile

"hah! no. no, your not" he laughs at me

"yes i am! im not just gonna let them die out there!" 

"so you wanna go out there and die instead?!" he shouts

"if it saves them? yes. yes absolutely i will" 

i stand up and ignore kai shouting at me, then apparating to my dorm, only then realising that kai must've grabbed me right at the last second because he was here with me again. i quickly push his hand off of my arm and run out of my dorm, through the common room, up and out of the dungeons and then to the gates of the castle. fuck

voldemort was stood just a little while away from breaking down the protection charm that someone had put around the school. he was stood there, his ugly ass surrounded by his death-eaters, almost completely through the dome and onto the school grounds

and then the dome was gone.

all the teachers and staff were fighting with the death-eaters, spells thrown back and forth like the ball in a tennis game, hell, even parents had come and joined in.me and almost all the other students were stood there in shock, not knowing what to do, some running off and the rest not moving, like statues

a hand grabs my arm and pulls me back into the castle, running through the grounds just like many other kids were doing, we only stopped once we got to the back of the great hall where many other kids had been stood

"kai what the fuck are you doing!" i shout at him 

"i can't let you do this ana, please don't try and be a hero" he begs

"kai i need to go, i can't just stand here and hope that it ends in a good way, if i can help in any way then i will!" i shout, holding his face in my hands, i press my forehead against his,"im sorry okay, i love you" i say to him, stepping back to look at my brother one more time i turn around and sprint out of the hall and back to where i was, not daring to stop or turn around

i finally get outside and stop in front of the gates, seeing harry and voldemort jut a few feet away from eachother, voldemort talking to harry, i can't make out what he's saying though. i then see a face i know all too well step out of a crowd of people and infront of harry.immediately i run up and in front of the crowd, now standing only a few feet away from the boy i love

"father, don't" mattheo says, stood right infront of harry, his arms out wide, commpletely covering the boy behind him

"oh my son, i'm so disappointed in you, protecting him? that's hilarious" he laughs, his disgusting, broken teeth on show

"he's just a kid! we're all just kids!" he shouts back at his father,"theres no need for you to do this!"

"i don't need to do anything, but i still will, even if i have to kill you first!" he shouts at his son, raising his wand at him "AVADA KAD-" 

i run in front of him, in front of the boy i love, the one i wanted to spend the rest of my life with. running in the spells way, faster than i'd ever run before. 

"ANA NO WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" mattheo shouts from behind me, his voice breaking

i ran straight to mattheo, bringing him into the biggest hug and then feeling an unbearable pain hit my back 

he hit me. im gone.
