For once, she let the entire world know how truly intelligent she was; she passed every single class she was in with flying colors, breezed through exams, and practically had to beg the school to let her go through all of them as fast as she possibly could—which, obviously, they allowed her to do, who wouldn't?
Though the classes were easy, everything else wasn't.
During her first year of college, not only did she have to worry about her grades, she had to worry about her family.
It started off with the Volturi wanting to destroy Renesmee Cullen. Mia could tell very early on, after she'd been told of Alice's vision, that the Italian vampires weren't just marching into Forks to determine whether the child would pose a threat or not; no, they were there to destroy.
Of course they were, she had thought to herself. Why else would they bring an entire army if it were just to check something out? Do they think we're dumb?
