Just an Ordinary day

John woke up to a text from Sera, his best friend.

Time goddess: Heyy wake up I'm waiting for you outside
Cripple: Okay!
Time goddess: Around how long are you gonna take?
Time goddess: Because I ain't waiting forever-
Cripple: idk depends
Time goddess: Oh yeah, depends if ur putting ur helmet on
Cripple: Helmet? OH-

Time goddess: anyways you have five minutes

I quickly get dressed and decide not to gel my hair, I then start to head out side. The cold air made me shiver. I see a purple/pink haired girl with green/yellow highlights. I head over to her and greet her with a smile.
'Hey Sera!! Good morning!!' I yell as I smile brightly. 'Hey John!' She replies with a smirk. I start blushing a bit. 'Wait who was that crush you told me you had?The blue eyed girl responds smiling. 'No one?' I ask a little bit nervous. 'Yeah yeah I'm sure' The ocean eyed girl responds. 'Can I at least have a hint?' She asks grinning while we walk to school. 'Uhmm I had this friend and they are so nice to me maybe I like them..' I say referring to Sera. It was true, I do like Sera.. 'lol you have other friends?' The ocean eyed girl responds jokingly. We arrive at Wellston and we separate. She normally skips class. After class was done I head over to the cafeteria and then to the roof I see a blonde haired boy. 'Hello?' I ask hesitantly. The blonde turn around and it's Arlo. '..Hey' The blonde responds quietly. He looked more upset than usual, he had bags under his eyes, he's pale, his eyes are dark, and he's also wearing the school outfit really different, he's really preppy so it was weird to see as oi hug jacket tied around his waist and his tye on weirdly. Not to mention his hair was messier. There were tares on his pants which was probably due to our fight. 'Do you want something' He asks quietly turning to the view. 'No' I reply with a glare. He walks away taking his lunch with him.
A little while later Sera arrives. 'Hey! Have you seen Arlo?' The blue eyed girl asks worried. 'Uh no why??' I ask lying. 'Oh well he's right now going through something.' The ocean eyed girl replies after awhile. 'An Emo fase' I ask. 'What noo!' The ocean eyed girl replies laughing. 'Then what?' I ask confused. 'He just figured out that someone he trusted betrayed him..' The ocean eyed girl replies slowly. Karma. 'Can you add more details?' I ask. 'Well I guess I can trust you, so it turns out his aunt who he trusted a lot, was working for ember and killed his best friend and almost killed Remi. She sighed while trembling. 'Turns out she was manipulating him into thinking she was good and she had plans for him to join ember.' The ocean eyed girl said concerned. 'Does he have parents..?' I ask just a little bit concerned. 'No they died.' The ocean eyed girl responds with a sigh. I notice one of Seraphina's friends. 'Hey look over there.' I say pointing at the person. She blushes. I notice her blushing and I grow quiet. I start to get upset. 'I'm gonna go see them, bye~!' The ocean eyed girl responds blushing. She leaves the rooftop. I grow more and more upset and fall on to the ground. 'H-Hey are you okay..?' A blonde asks. 'No, go away.' I respond annoyed. The blonde helps me up. 'Arlo??' I ask confused. 'Don't call me that..' the blonde responds silently like he's hiding something. 'Why?' I ask. 'It's a fake identity just don't tell anyone.' The blonde responds. I bite my lip. 'So what do I call you?' I ask. 'Kiyoko, call me Kiyoko!' He says brightly. 'So is this like a new start?' I ask. 'Yeah because Arlo is now gone' He replies softly. 'What about everyone else? Won't they be looking for you?' I ask. 'Well.... they will probably go to my apartment after like 3 days and that's where I faked my death..' The blonde responds slowly. 'Wait WHAT?!' I yell. 'Shhh!' The blonde says covering my mouth. 'I'm only doing all of this because the authorities will track me down and kill my friends' The blonde says in a whisper. 'Anyways what were you sad about. The blonde asks me. 'Uhm.. It's Sera, I like her..' I respond sadly but blushing. 'Dude, she's just not into you..' The blonde responds. His words hurt me but I knew they were true. 'Okay but just cause you now have a new identity doesn't mean we are friends!' I say quickly. 'Yea I know,' The blonde responds. 'Anyways Blykes the new king..' The blonde says with a smile. 'Wait but aren't you still stronger? Wouldn't that ruin your hierarchy?' I ask confused once more. He normally is obsessed with the hierarchy. 'Well yea but Idc, anyways I decided that I'm going to be powerless to.' He responds with a smirk. 'W-WHAT?!' I say in disbelief. 'Don't worry John, now you won't be the only powerful person pretending as a cripple~. The blonde says smoothly. 'Okay but don't expect not to get hit!' I say loudly. 'I know, I know' The blonde responds as he heads over to the door. 'Anyways I got to go introduce myself to my class. Me and Arlo were supposed to be in the same grade but I was held back due to the Boston incident. Suddenly I hear the speakers. 'John head to the principals office'. I hesitate but then start walking to the office. 'Hello..?' I say. 'Hello..' the blue haired principal replies. 'I saw how your grades have been better better and better and now you can answer 4th year questions'. He says with a smile on his face. I sweat because I always used google or a calculator to help me out. But I still knew a little bit of the 4th year questions so I nodded. 'And I saw how you are actually supposed to be a 4th year's the blue haired guy says. 'So?' I ask. 'So, I'm moving you up to 4th year where you will take 4th year classes. I hesitate before saying anything. 'Okay...' I say nervously. 'Head to class, here's a map of the 4rth year classes.' He says as he hands me a paper. 'Class starts in 2 minutes so hurry up.' The blue haired guy says with a smile. 'Right, okay!' I say nervously as I walk out of the office. I run run to my location and open the door. I was on time. I sit down as I get a few glances at me. 'Hello class today we have a new student!' The teacher says excitedly. Everyone cheers, it reminded me of when I came but everyone hated me when they heard I had no ability. 'Everyone welcome the new student!' She's says brightly. 'Hello!' Almost everyone shouts. I glance and see Holden, he didn't shout he just looked lonely. Probably because Arlo wasn't with him. 'Introduce yourself!' The teacher says as she looks at the blonde. 'Okay.. I'm Kiyoko.' He says calmly. 'WHATS YOUR ABILITY???' I hear a girl scream. She looked exactly like a brat and some people rolled there eyes when she screamed that. 'That's none of your business' he says with a smirk. Almost all the girls started blushing,, even some guys including me. He looked like a badass character that just came straight out of an anime. 'O-Okay Kiyoko you can sit down next to the blonde haired girl with a ponytail. He nods and sits down. I couldn't pay attention to class, mainly because I had no clue what the teacher was talking about and because I felt uncomfortable with the way a lot of people were staring at Arlo. Once class finished, a lot of people rushed to Arlo. 'Hey hey omg you're so hot and dreamy! I love your eyes blah blah blah!!' Arlo finally get away from them when I purposely start a fight. He smiles at me before he runs away. A lot of people came charging at me and I just ran into the crowd and after they had no clue where I was I rushed to the direction where Arlo went. I saw a guy yelling at him. And before I knew it, the guy activated his ability and tried to punch Arlo. But Arlo grab his arm and punched the back of that guys elbow (which broke it) and slammed him into the floor. He was sweating and some people saw that and were amazed. 'WOW HE DEFEATED THAT GUY WITHOUT ACTIVATING HIS ABILITY?!' Arlo seemed a little bit hurt by that and turned to look at me. I walk over to him. 'How about you try to make friends with 'Arlo's' friends' I say with a smirk as we enter the 3rd year hallway. 'I guess I should' the blonde responds gloomily. We see Elaine as we pass by. 'Hello' Arlo says as he smiles. 'Hey! I'm Elaine who are you?' She asks smiling. 'I'm Ar- Kiyoko!' The blonde responds. 'Oh I see you're hanging out with h-him!' The blue haired girl stutters. 'Anyways what's your ability?' The blue haired girl asks brightly. 'I-.. I don't have one..' he responds hesitantly. 'O-Oh!' She says as she looks disappointed. 'Well I got to go bye!' She says as she runs away. 'What was that about..?' The blonde asks me sadly. 'She despises cripples, she hated me when she found out that I was a cripple.' I sigh. 'So she hates me..' Arlo says breathlessly. 'Hey calm down!! I'm sure Remi and Sera will still be your friends! And if Remi's your friend Isen and Blyke will be too!' I respond trying to make him calm down. 'O-Okay..' he says as his eyes start to tear up.
