I run a hand through my hair and turn off my mobile phone.

Ella's really ignoring me, isn't she?

"Hey, Snickerdoodle." Someone thumps me on my back. And I know who that particular someone might be.

"For the last time, don't call me that."

"Whatever, why do you look like you're going to die?" My best friend, Cole Wilson, asks.

"Ella's ignoring me."

Cole laughs.

"Move on, bro. She's a bitch anyway."

"Don't call her that." I glare at him.

"I'm just stating the fact. She just used you for fame, and now she's famous as your girlfriend or whatsoever, and boom! She's done with you."

I roll my eyes but I know Cole is right.

Being popular doesn't help with my love life.

Girls always use me for that.

"Be like Cole Wilson," Cole tells me.

I roll my eyes again.

"Yeah and become a nun, right?"

It was Cole's turn to glare at me.

"Shut up. I'm just taking a break from these things."

"Yeah, Right. You've never even dated, what things?"

"Shut up, Snickers."

I grin.

I know that Cole is waiting for the right one. He has the reputation of the bad boy, Because of his past. But now, he has changed.

One night changed him, completely.

A night he won't tell me about. He just changed overnight.

"Let's get something to eat after school," I suggest.

Cole shrugs.

"As long as you're paying."

"Sure, okay I'll pay for you too, you broke asshole."

"And, We're going to my place tomorrow. Mom's been asking about you like crazy, just show her your stupid face."

I laugh.

"Okay, what can I say your mother loves me more than she loves you."

"Whatever, Just be there."

"Sure. Of course."

"Good. See you after class." Cole holds up his hand for a high-five.

I slap his palm.

"Bye."

Just as I start walking towards my class I see my sister waving at me.

My eyes travel to the girl standing beside her.

Is she new?

After talking to Sofie I turn and continue walking towards my class.

That girl.

That girl was weirdly attractive.

I smile and turn on my mobile phone.

Ella is still ignoring me.

I'll just confront her, When I see her.

But right now, it wasn't really bugging me as much.

I enter my class and every single eye turns towards me.

I'm used to this attention and kind of like it.

"Hi, Wyatt."

I turn around and come face to face with Isabella Romero.

The most beautiful girl in the whole freaking school.

That is what she thinks.

"Hey," I say and try to walk past her.

"How about we hang out after school?" She casually wraps her arms around my waist, causing me to stop trying to walk past her, and bats her eyelashes.

I roll my eyes and unwrap her arms from around my waist.

"I'm busy after school," I reply.

"Why?" She demands.

"What do you mean why? I just have something to do."

"You always turn me down," She pouts, then looks at me in the eyes. "All the guys in school would give anything to spend even one hour with me." She informs me.

"Then you should give them a chance," I advise her.

"But I have my eyes on," Her eyes travel from my face to my shoes and back to my face again"You."

"Don't think about it too much. See you." I pat her arm and resume walking towards my seat.

Isabella frowns.

I take my seat and look around.

The class starts and I take out my register and pen. Because I have to note everything. For Cole.

Yes, Cole as in my idiot best friend. Who sleeps in his classes and borrows the notes from me the night before the exam.

I write and write for the next few classes till lunch.

The bell rings. I get up, stretch, and pick up my register.

I shoulder my backpack and leave the classroom.

"Snickerie!" Once again I hear him and stop without turning.

I guess 'Snikerie' is my new name.

"Cole."

Cole flings his arm around my shoulder and we start walking together.

"Hey, Cole. Hey Wyatt."  God, It's exhausting to be popular. My neck always hurts at the end of the day by nodding so much.

"Are you over Ella yet?" Cole asks.

"I guess. It wasn't like I loved her or anything."

"Good."

"There's this girl...,"

Cole groans.

"What the hell is wrong with you? Why are you turning into me?" He glares at me and demands.

"It's not that. It's just that, she's so weird. And I like it. Why?"

"You're insane."

"Dude. I'm not thinking of hitting on her or something." I raise my hands in mock surrender.

"Give yourself a break. Girls are nothing but drama. One day you'll find yourself falling in love and you won't even know what to do." Cole looks down at his hands and says.

I look at him and narrow my eyes.

"Did you fall in love with someone? Is that the reason you changed?"

"Shut up, man. It's nothing like that."

Huh, I had known him since the moment we gained our senses. And he thinks he can lie to me, On my face?

"Let's talk after school."

Cole rolls his eyes.

"I'm hungry. So damn hungry."He mutters.
