As you finish hiding you plans the woman comes out of the bathroom the clothes you gave her were a bit small but they were okay for now.
After a few seconds of silence you finally ask
"So who are you?"
"I'm yue"
You didn't recognize her at first but looking closer at her you immediately recognize her gold eyes or perhaps they were more auburn you should probably stop staring at her
"I'm sorry if I offended you yesterday yue"
"It alright I haven't been being honest with you"
You had a feeling something was off with her she definitely wasn't your average liyue commoner
"Y/n do you remember the slums?"
How could you forget the streets always dirty in mud dogs barking and babies crying all through the night you can still hear the drunkards fighting and yelling
"Yes I remember quite well why are you asking me this?"
"Your friend your best friend do you remember her as-well?"
That's when it you, you had a friends in the slums she was the most hard working person there walking bare foot from liyue harbor back to the slums just to provide for her family but one day she never came back if only you could remember her name.
"Yes but I still don't understand what's going on here yue pleas-"
"Don't call me yue!"
She yelled her eyes now starting to tear up
"Please.. y/n"
She then stepped towards you taking your hand in hers her thumb rubbing the palms of your hands.
She seemed to be having an emotional moment but you were still in utter confusion
"Um I'm sorry I don't understand"
"I missed you y/n"
she's- she couldn't be? is she really my friend from all those years ago but yue that doesn't ring a bell I'm sure I would know her name if someone said it
"But I don't know a yue"
"That's because I'm not yue I never have been I'm ningguang"
Your shocked you pulled your hands away from her did she try to impersonate your old friend to arrest you?!
" you! How could you I believed you I thought I..."
"I'm still your friend y/n I was that friend who never came back"
Ningguang pulled you her cupping you cheek in her hand
"your still so beautiful y/n"
You wanted to fight back or yell at her for lying and tricking you into believing she was some helpless woman but something about her made that just impossible maybe she isnt lying.
