17 - The new danger

It was 7 in the morning and I couldn't sleep the entire night, I was too scared to sleep.. So I just decided to make breakfast for us

Two arms slowly crept around my waist which had me startled but the familiar scent and touch made me realize it was Hoseok, "Sohee-ah, is something wrong?" he asks me in a worried tone

"I-I well I got a message from this unknown number" I tell him showing the message that I had got "Hobi.. I have a bad feeling that something worse is gonna happen, please.. Let's stop all this, I don't w-want anyone to get-t hurt because of me, especially y-you" I let out as the tears forming in my eyes choke my words

He just hums and secures his arms around me tightly, this warmth.. Is what makes me feel safe, I can't let anything happen to him this thought keeps ringing in my mind..

"Sohee, you don't have to worry about anything.. I'll make sure to protect you... and myself... no matter what" he whispers into my ears making me melt into his words

Hoseok and I have left for office and everything was peaceful until it was time for our meeting with the company that we decided to collaborate with... The meeting had to be cancelled as the CEO of the company didn't come

Hoseok seemed upset and clearly annoyed with the fact.. he tried calling him but he didn't answer the call.. After an hour, he had called me in person and said with utter fear "Miss. Sohee, I really did want both of our companies to merge but.. the situation however is unfavorable, I received a call from some unknown person, the person threatened that if I attend today's meeting or if ever make any dealings with your company, my family will be put in the line of danger, I'm truly sorry but my family is indeed important to me, hope you understand"

"I can understand your worries Mr. Lee, I'm very much sorry for all trouble caused from our side, Thank you for informing me about this matter"

Hoseok walked near me as he hears me talking to Mr . Lee, he holds my hand firmly and I tell him everything..

Later in the evening Jiminie oppa and Ji sung decided to visit us.. I cleaned the house a bit and waited for them

Ji sung came running with his new dinosaur toy "Sohee-ah, This is Spike, he's my new friend!"

"Aigoo, Can I be his friend too?" "No, he only likes me" with that he runs away from me into the living room

"Sohee-ah, I missed you so much" Jimin oppa says as he hugs me "I missed you too oppa, you should visit more often" I playfully hit his shoulder

Hoseok welcomes Jiminie oppa and we all sit in the living room, "Sohee, I heard about the recent happening in your office, it is now a talk among the companies that all other companies are afraid to be in contract with you as someone's threatening them all, is it true?"

"Ne, oppa... It started with Mr. Lee and now more than 6 companies have rejected our offer" I say with a sadness laced in my tone "I have a suggestion.. My company may not be as reputed as yours but still I think that our businesses can merge well together.. I'm willing to collab with your company if you give me the opportunity, What do you think Hoseok-ssi?"

Hoseok turns to me and says "It seems to be a good idea, what about you Sohee?" I nod and say "If it feels right to you Hoseok-ah, then I'm fine with it" I smile

Hoseok then faces Jimin oppa and says "Thank you so much Jimin-ssi, we are very much delighted to work with you, And please do not worry about the unknown person, I'll make sure that no harm is caused to you or Ji sungie"

Jimin oppa then pats Hoseok on the shoulder and assures him that "Hoseok-ssi, I'm not scared about that at all, the person must be so coward to do such dirty tricks, I'm very much happy to work with you, we can have the meeting according to your convenience"

Hoseok and Jiminie oppa discuss about work stuff while I play with Ji sung and his new friend haha... after a while they leave and now the house once again becomes silent..
