Devin's Pov

"Check out what I've done with my locker." Said opening it to me and Bree to be filled with random things

"Here's where I keep my books , down here I have random strands of hair I collected to make fake mustaches." He said placing the hair on his top lip while me and Bree made faces of confusion mixed with disgust.

"And here is where I stockpile old lunches, or as I like to call it my tum tum yum yums."

"Hey Leo what's that?" Bree asked
"My progress report, I can't believe my science teacher says I'm always late to class."

"But Leo you are always late to class."
"I know that but I don't need it publicized."

"Look at this!" Chase ran over to us
"An A minus! I knew my home ec teacher had it out for me."

"I have all A plus." I said pulling out the paper as Chase snatched it from me. "Let me see that, how do you have all A pluses!"

"Cause I'm smart."
"Well I beat you both because I have a D plus,
Plus because I'm better." Adam smiled

"Adam the plus is, you know what it's not even worth it anymore."

"D is not a good grade, but I don't under have you have all A plus."
Chase said confused
"You make it seem like I can't be smarter than you."

"Because I'm supposed to be the smarter man. not to mention your a girl."
"So because I'm a girl I can't be better than you." "Yes!" He exclaimed "I'll see you later guys." I said walking away

-Next day

I walked down the stairs seeing the other, "Hey Devin vote for Chase." he said handing me one as I ripped it handing it back to him. "Are you still mad at me for saying you can't be smart because your girl." He asked

As I smiled walking away

I was in the lunch line with Adam when I placed two cup cakes on my tray. As Adam poured the whole bucket of gravy onto the tray.

Sliding it under the scanning thingy, "step away from the gravy." It said in chases voice, "don't tell me what to do turkey."

"Adam that's my nutritional scanner, insuring that everyone gets a well balance meal." He said as I ran my lunch under it "Two cupcakes that's a bit too much for you." It said as I looked up at Chase you had an apologetic smile, as I walked up to him.

"Chase."
"Your talking to me!" He exclaimed as I gave him a glare making him shut up.

"No one wants to be told what to eat. And the next thing you invent that tells me I shouldn't have what's on my plate. I will it and you." I said shoving my tray in his hand walking out the lunch room

About two days later
Adam also ran for student of the semester and now it's time to announce the winner.

I was standing next to Adam, Chase, and Leo waiting to see who won student of the semester. The old teacher was struggling to open the envelope.

"Oh give me the stupid thing!" Chase exclaimed snatching the envelope, "I mean let me help you ma'am." He covered up opening it,
"Yes! Yes! I tied with Adam?"

"Yes! I half won." Adam said picking up Chase, "Put me down." Adam placed Chase back down walking off, "There must be a mistake maybe you missed a few, count again please!" Chase begged as she walked off

"Chase she's not gonna make it through another count." Leo said
"Oh I got to go my rides here." He added walking off to Bree, as I went to go to class.

But Chase grabbed my arm, "Devin please just talk to me." He said as I gave him a blank stare, "I will do anything in my power to get you to talk to me!" He exclaimed as I walked to class

Later at the lab

I walked into the lab noticing Adam duck in front of me. As I was shot with some force throwing me into the wall, making me wince in slight pain.

"Oh my god Devin are you okay? That was meant for Adam." He said like that was make everything better,

"It shouldn't have been for him either. Do not tell me your fight over this stupid student of the semester award?" I asked as Bree helped me up

"Your really fight with your brother over a school award that won't make a difference to your every day life. Not to mention it won't even appear on your school record!" I exclaimed going to leave

"A silly high school award shouldn't come between you two."
"And Adam!"
"Yes?"
"Carry me to my room please?" I said as he lifted me up going to the elevator.

Next day at school

"Student of the semester is Adam Davenport:" principal Perry announced as I was at my locker. When there was a honk, and Leo rode up in Adams party car thing. The others got in except me

"Devin you coming?" Leo asked me
"No I'm good." I smiled as Chase got out, "You guys go with out me." He said as Leo drove out of the main hallway.

"Devin, listen I'm really sorry about saying you can't be smart because you girl. I guess my ego just gets the best of me sometimes, I also apologize for blasting you. Please forgive me?"

"Mmh I guess I can forgive but don't let it happen again." I smiled
"So let's go home and have a movie and popcorn."
"What kind of popcorn?"
"Carmel." He said unsure

"Lets go!" I said excited grabbing his hand walking out the school

A/N
Short chapter I might update again later today if I have time, I already started the next chapter. I will be skipping the Exoskeleton vs Grandma episode. I just feel it not too important, this one technically wasn't either but I decided to write it anyways. Have a nice day guys
