I was on my phone standing with Leo, Chase, and Adam when Leo spoke up. "Guys with the dance coming up I thought you could use a lesson, on how to ask a lady out." He said as I put my phone in my back pocket.
"Oh great do you know a guy who could teach us?" Adam said "Me!" Leo said
"Your gonna watch me ask out the girl of my dreams." "Devin?" Adam said stupidly "Gross it would be a no." I said patting Leo on the shoulder
"No Danielle." He said looking over at a blond girl sitting down "Danielle? Isn't she the girl who uses you as a footstool in math class?" Chase
"Where else is she supposed to put her feet on the floor?" "Yes Leo like everyone else does." I say to him rolling my eyes
"Open your notebooks boys cause class is in session." He said walking over to her as Adam, and Chase walked with him me standing at my locker watching from a far. Knowing he was gonna get rejected.
"Devin." I heard someone call my name as I see a Brandon a boy in my class walk up to me. 'Not again.' I thought to myself hoping I won't get asked to the dance again.
"Yes Brandon." I say with fake smile "I was wondering if you wanted to maybe?" He stopped as if he was trying to find the words
"If I would maybe what?" I asked "If you would be my date to the dance?" He said with a hopeful smile "I would really like to but I'm not interested sorry." I say with a kind smile as I walked to where the others were.
Just as Danielle left calling Leo Lenny, making me laugh. "So Leo what should I write down in my notebook?" Chase asked "You mean other than denied." I said laughing
"No, no, you can cheat off of me, I have she's not going to the dance with Lenny." Adam said as we laughed as Bree came over.
"Are you guys talking about the dance too? Why is everybody making such a big deal, out of this stupid dance?" "Nobody's asked you yet, have they?" Chase said with and amused smile
"No, I really wanna go with that guy." She said looking over at Ethan who's talking to his friend "His name is Ethan, we sit next to each other in chemistry. Coincidence? I think not. Chemistry." She sang out
"Well Bree your in luck because he's my friend." I said smiling at her "Wait don't." She tries to stop me "Ethan!" I yelled causing him to look at me and smile when I gave a hand motion telling him to come over.
