Third person's P.O.V.

Pandu has been invited to take part in Kunti's Swayamvar he went to his Jyesht and Bhabhishree Gandhari's blessings

Pandu's P.O.V.

I walked Jyesht and Bhabhishree (Dhritarashtr and Gandhari)  chamber to take their blessings, I stopped at the entrance

"Please tell Jyesht and Bhabhishree Gandhari that I am here to meet them." I requested, a dasi

"As you say, Maharaj." said the dasi bowing and went in the chamber

Gandhari's P.O.V.

I was sitting on the bed I heard the found of payels (Anklets)

"Pranipat, Gandhar Kumari. Maharaj wishes to meet you." said a dasi

"Tell him he can come in." I said the dasi left, I heard footsteps coming in

Pandu's P.O.V.

I was waiting outside the dasi came back out

"Gandhar kumari has asked you to come in, Maharaj." said the dasi, I went in. I saw Bhabhishree sitting on the bed

"Pranipat, Bhabhishree." I greeted joining my hands and bowing my head

"Pdharye, Maharaj." she said joining her hands

"You weren't disturbed, were you?" I asked, she shook her head

"Before leaving for Kuntibhoj I have come to seek your and Jyesht's blessings." I said, Bhabhishree smiled

"Sdha Vijay rahiye, Maharaj. (May you always be victorious, Your Highness.) May your fame and glory have no limits. May you be successful in every endeavour." she said

"Can't you address me just as Pandu, Bhabhishree?" I asked

"Addressing a raja by his name is a crime, Maharaj." she said, I looked away

"But the term Maharaj coming from you pierces me like a thousand thorns! My heart brims over with a feeling of guilt! This throne belonged to Jyesht and only him-"

"No!" Bhabhishree interrupted me

"Had the throne been your Jyesht's it'd have been his. Since it wasn't so, it clearly means, the throne is yours. That was destiny. Now, you have to become worthy of the throne." she said

"You had come here to become the Maharani and yo-"

"No!" Bhabhishree interrupted me again

"I had come here to become the patni of your Jyesht's and... that I am. Had I come to become the Maharani I would have married the throne itself." she said and chuckled

"How can you be so generous?" I asked

"Because a Bhabhi is equal to a Mata, right Maharaj? A Mata has just one desire. That her putra should get everything. That he should achieve all the pleasures of the world. I feel, as if not just a sau but I have the varadan to have ek sau do putro." she said

"Promise me, Bhabhishree, that when I am seated on the throne then, and only then, will you address me as Maharaj. Else, you'd consider me a putra and call me by my name." I said, Bhabhishree smiled

"Then not just you, I will call your Patni by her name too. Now, go to Kuntibhoj and bring my Devrani. I have not seen you... but I can assure you that no beautiful maiden of the world would never refuse to be your Patni." she said

"I have your blessings, which is why I feel confident but without seeking Jyesht's blessings I never start any task. This blessing is also on his behalf, Pandu. His heart is still in a state of disturbance. But he still loves you as much as he used to." she said

"I believe that, Bhabhishree. My devotion to him is still the same. I promise you my patni and I will always serve you and Jyesht till the very end of our lives." I said, Bhabhishree smiled, I kneeled down and touched Bhabhishree's feet, she raised her hand

"Chirunjivi bhavh. Vijay bhavh." blessed Bhabhishree

"Prnam, Bhabhishree." I said, she nodded smiling

Kunti's P.O.V.

I entered the court holding Priyamvada's hand tightly I was very scared. I still feel that I am too young to get married and who will take care of Pitashree. I thought I walked up the stairs to Pitashree

"Pranipat, Pitashree." I greeted joining my hands

"Kalyan ho." blessed Pitashree raising his hand

"The rajao and rajkumaro of the Aryaverth by gracing the Swayamvar of my putri Kunti all of you have raised my honour. It has been the grand tradition of the Aryaverth that a maiden is given the right to chose her pati I request all of you that the decision of my putri Kunti be heartily accepted by you regardless of your being enemies or allies. You would offer the newlyweds your blessings and best wishes." said Pitashree

"Come putri." he called

"Today, I will not you introduce to rajo, as today, you will be choosing your fate." said Pitashree, I nodded, Vimila held out the thali with a varmala I took the varmala and walked down the stairs, a rajkumar stood up

"This is Kumar Ashwakumar of the Ashwa clan. He is known for his sword fighting." said Priyamvada

"And his non-intelligence." said another raja Kumar Ashwakumar drew out his sword

Pandu's P.O.V.

I walked in and saw Kumari Kunti and saw a rajkumar drew out his sword and another raja drawing out his sword they both ran, I ran and held their wrists before they could strike they looked at me angrily. I separated their hands

"Please don't exceed the modesties laid out for a Swayamvar. A test of strength isn't displayed at a court but in battle." I said

"Who are you?" asked the King

"I am the raja of Hastinapur a putra of the Kuru clan, Ganga putra Devavrath Bhishma's nephew, Pandu." I introduced myself the two lowered their weapons

"I request you both to please return to your seats." I requested they went back to their seats

Kunti's P.O.V.

I leaned to Priyamvada ear

"Who is he, Priyamvada?" I asked in a whisper

"He raja of Hastinapur, Mahamahim Bhishma's nephew, he always follows the path of dharm." explained Priyamvada

"But why are you asking this saki?" she asked in a whisper cheekily I looked down shyly my cheeks turned pink, Priyamvada giggled

"Go ahead." she said in a whisper, I nodded and walked to Maharaj Pandu

Pandu's P.O.V.

Kumari Kunti walked to me, she tried to place the varmala on my neck but I was too tall she couldn't place the varmala I chuckled, Kumari Kunti sulked, I smiled and bent my head and Kumari Kunti placed the varmala around my neck her cheeks turned pink she looked up at me I smiled at her a dasi brought a thali with a varmala on it I took the varmala and placed it around Kumari Kunti's neck evryone threw flower petals over us
