Arjun's P.O.V.

"May your soul rest in peace." said Madhav

"What sordid justice is this, Karn? How can killing a guest like this be considered appropriate?! After becoming the mighty Chkravarti Samrat is this how you're going to establish Dharm in the whole of Aryaverth?!" asked Duryodhan in Rage

"Calm down, Duryodhan. Shishupal insulted Pitamaha, Vasudev, our father, our Patni. He disrespected my right. He also insulted Kulwadu of the Kurukul, Prishti and also Maharani Draupadi. He got the punishment he deserved." said Jyesht, I nodded, Duryodhan walked forwered

"Punishment can never exceed the sin. The punishment must always be lesser than the sin. You can humiliate someone as a punishment for an insult. How can you kill him?!"  said Duryodhan, Jyesht and Madhav exchanged looks Madhav walked to Duryodhan

"Sin and crime are part of a poisonous cycle, Yuvraj. If the criminal is not stopped from committing a crime he or she will go on to commit many crimes. He goes on to poison his or her soul. He loses control over himself. He or she continues to commit crimes even without reason. The way a child is forcefully stopped from consuming mud in the same manner it is necessary to stop a criminal from committing crimes. That's not a punishment, Yuvraj. It's sympathy. Don't unnecessarily worry about Shishupal. He has been freed from this poisonous cycle." said Madhav

"Don't try to fool me, Vasudeva Krishn. You have taken revenge in the name of punishment. You have broken this Yajna." said Duryodhan glaring at Madhav, Gandhar Raj stood up

"Mere bachche, Vasudev is right. Sit down." he said

"Keep quiet, Mamashree!" ordered Duryodhan Gandhar Raj sat down

"Yuvraj Sishupal was my Mitr. We had sworn to protect each other. If I don't avenge his death today then my being a warrior will be questioned, Mamashree." said Duryodhan glaring at Madhav who smiled

"Vasudev Krishn I challenge you to a duel." said Duryodhan pointing at Madhav Duryodhan walked to his Gada Gandhar Raj

"Mere bachche, Vasudeva is right-"

"Keep quiet!" interrupted Duryodhan pushing Gandhar Raj

"Sit down..."  finished his sentence Bhrata Yudhisthir, Bhrata Bheem, Nakul, Sahadev, Yuyutsu and I walked in front of Madhav blocking Duryodhan, Ashwathama and Dushasan walked next to Duryodhan Dushasan drew his sword and Ashwathama clenched his bow

"Duryodhan, don't diminish the sanctity of Indraprasth by shedding your blood. I don't forgive anyone who dares to raise a weapon against Madhav." I said

"Arjun, if this is the challenge to war, then I accept it!" exclaimed Duryodhan

"Yuvraj Duryodhan! Before fighting the battle, it is mandatory to take the permission of the Hastinapur Maharaj, Dhritarashtr." said Kakashree

"But the Hastinapur Maharaj isn't present here, Mahamanthri." said Duryodhan

"Hastinapur's Mahamanthri is present though! You can certainly call for a duel with Vasudev. But you can't use weapons in somebody else's court. I order you to either put down your weapon or step down from the post of Hastinapur's Yuvraj. Else, I'll have to give orders to Hastinapur's Senapathi, Mahamahim Bhishma to raise weapons for protecting Indraprasth." said Kakashree Jyesht walked down the stairs to Duryodhan and put his hand on Duryodhan's shoulder

"Anuj Duryodhan." called Jyesht, Duryodhan looked at him

"I request you to put your weapons down." he said, Duryodhan jerking his shoulder shaking Jyesht's hand off his shoulder
