Kunti's P.O.V.

Jyeshtshree was made karyakari raja (acting king) we were going to leave

"Wait, Pandu!" we heard Tatshree call, we turned around and saw the whole Kuru family

"Won't you take the blessings of your elders?" asked Tatshree, Aray looked at Madri and me we wiped our tears and nodded he nodded back we walked to Rajmata bent and touched her feet

"Kalyan ho." she blessed her tears fell on our heads, we stepped in front of Tatshree and touched his feet

"Ayushman bhavah." blessed Tatshree Madri and I looked at Didi Gandhari we walked to her kneeled and touched her feet she hugged us we hugged her back we pulled away

"Sugadha," called Didi Gandhari

"Yes, Maharani." said Sugadha bringing a thali with a box, Didi Gandhari took the box and stretched out her hand giving us the box I took it

"So you have a little part of Hastinapur wherever you go." she said, I opened the box there was soil in it Madri and I smiled

"Thank you, Didi." we said in unison hugging her

Fifteen months later

Kunti's P.O.V.

Madri and I were playing with fawn a dove came and sat on Madri's shoulder Madri looked at it, it had a yellow paper tied to it. Madri took the letter

"Aray!" I called, Aray looked out the window

"There is a message from Hastinapur, Aray!" I said, Aray smiled and walked down the stairs, Madri read the message

"Why does the Mahamantri always send riddles instead of a message?" asked Madri, I giggled Aray smiled

"They are not riddles. To keep the message a secret such language is used." said Aray

"Only you can read his message, Aray." said Madri

"Here you go." she said giving Aray the paper Aray read it his smile disappeared

"What happened, Aray? Is it any troubling news?" I asked

"Bhabhishree has been garbhvati for fifteen months and she still hasn't given birth. Jyesht is going to gain a hair for the throne from another maiden." said Aray, Madri and I exchanged looks.

Aray and I were in the field Madri was in the hut cooking. Aray was pulling the plough and I was sowing the corn thinking about Didi Gandhari

"Aray, is it true that the love between a raja and rani is connected to their baby?" I asked Aray turned around

"Why such a question, Kunti?" said and turned back

"I am worried for Didi, Aray." I said Aray stopped

"After a lot of difficulties, she got Jyeshtshree's love. What if-"

"You are getting worried unnecessarily, Kunti. A baby is the fruit of love. Not the reason to love." said Aray he looked down

"I can't give you and Madri any offspring, then has your love reduced for me?" asked Aray

"No, Aray. Not even in my dreams." I said shaking my head

"Then don't worry about Bhabhishree. This is an unfortunate time for the whole Kuru vansh. Even these times will certainly pass away. The shedding of the leaves is not the end of the tree. The spring certainly ushers in new leaves, Kunti. Ishvar would have certainly planned something even for the Kuru lineage, Kunti." said Aray, I smiled
