Chapter 22 : The Past

The girl opens her eyes only to see herself standing infront of their house,

'No way... Could this be... I'm- I'm back?'

Or so she thought...

"Y/N! Dinner's ready, come down and eat!" A familiar voice can be heard inside,

'Mom!' She mentally shouted and went to the door with no hesitation,

"Y/N, fetch me jacket when you come down, it's kinda cold tonight so better bring a protection when I go to work" Another familiar voice spoke,

'That's Dad! He must be on night shift today!'

The girl smiled widely and fastened her pace to the wooden object,

However, when she was already at the doorstep, she heard another voice called out.

"Dad, here's your jacket. What's for dinner Mom?"

Confused, she go to the window close to her and look through it.

As she squinted, her eyes suddenly widened at what she saw,

It was her, another her... Smiling and eating with her parents,

"What the- Why am I there?!?" She moved away from the window,

Then the scene starts to get blurry and new ones are starting to form.

She rubs her eyes due to the white light that blinds her,

Then she saw herself again looking at her,

But then she noticed something weird,

This version of herself was wearing some kind of a Royalé like or something... Like the clothes in the past, but some kind of a Fantasy dress or something...

The Fantasy version of her walks up closely and reach her hand to her,

She too stretch her hand out to touch hers,

But as their hands touched each other, another scenario played in her head and it hurts her so much,

What she sees is the horrible scene that happened in her past life,

"Hurry! We have to go!"

A voice boomed through the halls of the enormous castle.

"Take the princess with you and protect her" The King said as the guards take her away from her father and cover her up,

"No father! I'll come with you!" She said as she stretched her hand out to reach for him,

"Don't be stubborn now, Y/N, you must go to your mother! She's in the underground of the castle, there you will find a tunnel which leads you to the forest. Find the cottage and look for your mother in there, the guards will protect you on your way!" The King said while swinging his sword towards the dark creatures that he is fighting,

"But Father, what about you?!?"

"I'll be fine! Now go!"

The guards continue on taking her away for her safety and to follow the King's orders,

"You'll be right behind us right? You'll come back! Right?" The princess shouted, trying her best to go to her beloved father,

"Yes, my dear. NOW GO!" He shouted back,

The princess have no choice but to follow her father and do what he orders,
