My darling,

For what it's worth,

I think we'll be okay.

I used to think I was missing something.

A vital something I needed to be truly happy, with this world and with myself.

Whether it be riches or secrets, I did not know

but I searched for it like a madman.

I still have yet to find it, but that's alright.

I don't mind.

I don't need it anymore.

I have no need for riches

or anyone else's secrets

If it means that at the end of each day, I can come home to you.

I'm not the kind of person who gets to fall in love,

but you make it so easy.

So, my darling,

If you will allow me to,

I would like nothing more than to be able to stay by your side.

I cannot promise you a castle,

or an endless stream of jewels,

But what I can promise you is this:

All of my love and all of my affection,

to the day I take my last breath.

I will love you until then,

And for the eternity afterwards.
