Why was I so nervous like Ian ever talked to her before. I just kept staring at her like she was a ghost from my past
If I even blinked I feel like She'd disappear again.
Ever since we all met up for her welcome home dinner at my house I've been trying to give her some space so she wouldn't feel overwhelmed with all the new information and new individuals re entering her life
Me wanting us to pick up where we left off is selfish as fuck when she's already going through so much.
I felt a hand on my shoulder looking up I seen Mikey "she not going no where breathe my nigga"
I nodded as my eyes landed right back on her.
" stop staring at my gf Nasir." I turned to Mason on the floor glaring at me.

"Man move she mine she just don't know it yet" I mushed his head as I saw her rubbing her eye
She only do that when she nervous or uncomfortable in a situation

Everyone was speaking at once throwing ideas out there as I peeped her get up and go to the kitchen so I made my way over there
She was just looking out the window "You good?"
I guess I should've cleared my throat or some shit to make my presence known to her cause she jumped a bit turning around. " yea just thinking"
"About?" I came closer sitting on one of the stools in the kitchen
" just my life I guess." She shrugged looking back out the window " I'm doing what I love as my career, I have a supportive loving family, about to be an auntie... just feels like I'm missing something"

"I don't know maybe I need a vacation just traveling the world or something.. been in this state for too long"

That's when she turned around and stared at me before speaking again " first I don't even know you like that, second I hear you just started your company shouldn't that be a priority?"
She did have a point but when she talked about traveling it reminded me of that one night when we were laid up on the balcony during that vacation
