Slow. Dreadfully boring. Painful.
"Unfortunately," the cheerful boy replied. He could smile even while killing a person. Disgusting.
"I will have to discover another use for my dear soul, then." The ancient woman crawled to the cupboard, relying on a crutch. "You came all the way here." Haltingly, she returned and placed a shallow box of biscuits on the table. "Please, help yourselves."
No! I averted my eyes. How did she dare talk to me?
"Ciel," Raphael whispered, "do you want to leave?"
"We completed the job. He doesn't pay us to chat." I glanced at the cracked ceiling, avoiding their pitiful stares.
"We apologize." He opened the door. "But as my work partner -" I almost vomited "- said, our duty ends here. We should go."
