Chapter 4- Part 2: The Back of the Book

Leo's POV:

I can't believe that Kelp head could draw like that. Me and the rest of the demigods are still laughing at what he put under my name, but the gods don't get it. That makes it even more funny. Poseidon is the last to flick through the book, but then he turns all the way to the back. "Uhhh..." He begins "Did anyone see these ones. The pictures at the back, there of.... Gods, there of people who died, here, take a look."

The book is passed around again, these pictures: there of Silena, Luke, Ethan, and... gods that's Nico's sister- Bianca. I never heard much about anyone, but when Hades gets the book- he stifles a sob.

But I am surprised about what happens when Nico looks at it

Nico's POV:

I flick through the final few pages, and see Percy's drawings. They are tributes to some of the people who died in the service of Olympus.
First I see Beckendorf, who gave his life in an attempt to stop Kronos. Next is Silena, who betrayed us, but died fighting a drakon posed as Clarisse. Then I see Ethan, who sided with Kronos in an attempt to restore balance to Olympus, but he died fighting against Kronos. Next is Luke, who betrayed the whole of camp, and became Kronos' host, but he sacrificed himself in the end.

Finally, is... gods, its Bianca! I can feel rivers of tears stream down my face. I still miss her so much, and the tears worsen once I see what Percy wrote about her

I hear myself sobbing, and I can't stop it. I probably look weak in front of the Olympians. I suddenly feel Will's arms wrap around me, and he kisses my forehead and whispers in my ear "Hey, is okay Neeks, no one is judging you, let it all out." I bury my face in his orange shirt and I burst.
I hear my father's voice in my head:
"It's okay Nico, I miss her too. You're only human, and you lost her so young. And your boyfriend seems to really want to help. He really cares Nico, so let him in!"

I feel Hazel start hugging me as well, and I manage to say something through my endless sobs "Thanks Will, and Hazel, and Dad, I miss her more than anything." I pull away from them, wipe my eyes, and turn to Zoe "And thank you," She looks at me surprised "You let me see my sister again. I will always be grateful for that!" She smiles, and I give her a high-five, before addressing Zeus "We can continue, I am okay now!"
I grin at Hazel and Will in turn, who stand either side of me, holding my shoulders.

Zeus' POV:

I am amazed, I must admit, at the strength of this young hero; who lost everything by the age of 14, able to address me, and say that he is fine, after breaking down in front of the Olympians.

"Well," I say, my voice echoing around the room once more "I think that the gods and demigods should have a discussion, without the presence of Miss Jackson."

Murmurs of agreement begin, before Artemis speaks. "I think me and my brother should check Zoe..." She pauses for a second- perhaps caught in the memories she has of her past Lieutenant- before continuing "Check Zoe for any injuries she might have obtained on her journey to camp." Apollo nods in agreement, but Zoe disagrees

"NO!" She almost yells, startling everyone -except Hades and Nico- "I- I mean" The girl stutters "I don't need help, I don't have any injuries, it really doesn't matter, I'm doing great. Yeah!"
Artemis gives the girl a small smile, before countering "Then it will do you no harm to undergo a small check-up, will it?" "I guess not," Zoe mutters, and with that, I flash us all to the infirmary.

As we arrive, Zoe ends up on the floor- surprised with her sudden lack of a chair. "Hey," she glares at me "A little warning next time, huh? Ouch Big Z, that hurt my butt!" "Big Z," I boom! My sons try to smother their laughter, but Leo Valdez does not.

"HA! Big Z! Oh, gods that is hilarious" He giggles, and that sets everyone off; including myself- I must admit.

"Okay then, Miss Jackson!" Apollo says in a ridiculous dramatic voice "Let us begin your check-up. It will be the best you ever have, as it involves me!"
