Chapter 50♡

(Ariel's P.O.V)

I was up a bit earlier. It was light outside.   As I heard Caleb crying, I  heard Dad. "Morning sweetie." Going back upstairs, I kissed his cheek. "Morning. Were you on the night shift again?"

Caleb looked at us.. "Yep. Your mom has been getting more sleep. I'm ok to stay up with him." He gurgled a lot.

"Is Ria ok?" I nodded. "We are preparing for tonight." He then said that he would be downstairs. He said to be careful. As we went back into her bedroom, Ria woke up. "Morning!' She giggled. "Did you sleep well last night?" She said yes. "I texted my mom. She said that she would like to talk later. But first, we need to decide what we are wearing. As we looked in my wardrobe, Paige went off to her bedroom. "So, I have tartan print, black and lots of other options." Ria said that she had brought make up. 'Nice!" As I went to shower first, she sorted out her outfit. As I got in, I thought about my boyfriend. He was so sweet. I had to see if he was going to attend Ria's party as well. Hearing a knock on the door, Mom popped her head in.

"Morning honey. Are you alright?" I nodded "I'm good. Dad is so cute with Caleb. How's Auntie Nina?" She smiled. 'Her and your uncle are great. Your nephew has arrived nice and safely." I cooed. "Ahhhh." As I got out of the shower, I wrapped the towel around my body. "Ria seems like she's perked up a bit. Well done for being a good friend to her. What are you up to tonight?' I said that Ria was holding a party at her house. "Ahh. That's good. Who's gonna be there?" Her cop instinct always kicked in and I  didn't like it sometimes....

"Brett, his friends, Ria's friends. Zara. You know, the usual lot." Mom was concerned.. "Just be careful ok? No drinking." I was 15. "Got it." As I headed back into my bedroom, I closed the door. "Have you texted Brett?' I then texted him as Ria looked through my make up palettes...

Hi babe. What time are you gonna be at Ria's tonight? I've missed you sooo much. Xxxx

As I looked through my wardrobe, Ria asked what would suit her. "That tartan printed top with that skirt. And those flat shoes." As I decided what to wear, I took out my brown skirt with my white top. I had a pair of earrings that Mom had brought for me as a surprise. 'Are you wearing flats or heels?" I went for flat shoes. "Mommy!" Paigey ran to her bedroom. "Yes baby?" She then asked her if she could watch TV with dad. "Of course you can." As they headed downstairs, I heard my phone. It was Brett.

I'll be there with lads at about 6pm. I've missed you too. Can't wait to give you a cuddle.😍😍

Sorting out my hair, I decided to go with a simple ponytail. As I straightend out my outfit, Ria smiled. "My good friend is beautiful." I said the same to her.

(Elliot's P.O.V)

I was voicing my concerns to Olivia about Ariel going out tonight. "I'm just worried Olivia. She's come so far in terms of her therapy.. what if she's tempted?" Liv said that she was now developing into a young woman. "We have to at least trust her babe."  I was kissing Caleb's chubby cheeks. As my wonderful fiancé walked towards the sofa. "Mommy. Look!" My little girl was enjoying the TV show that she was watching. "Paigey. Do you like it when Mommy and Daddy aren't arguing?" She nodded. "Yes I do. I like it when Caleb is around too." She took his tiny hand. "He's so small Daddy." I agreed. "You and him will always be my little stars. Ari will be my star as well."

We then heard both of them outside. "Did you want dropping off?" Olivia asked. "Yes please.' Ria got her bag. "See you later sweetheart. Be careful." Ariel promised that she would call us if anything was off or weird. As Liv kissed me, she went to drop them off. "Right Paigey, what else should we watch?' She cuddled me as Caleb cried a bit. "I think he needs feeding." Settling him, he nearly screamed. "Mommy will be back soon buddy." Calling Mom, she advised me on what to do. "Has he got a blanket?" Paige went to go and look for one. "Is it blue Daddy?" I said yes. "Thanks." Mom said to place the blanket over him. "He's just a bit grizzly. Liv will back soon right?" I said she would be. "She's just dropping Ariel off to a party." Mom then told me about how Charlie was doing. "He's just having fun with his friends and looking for a new job." It was nice catching up with Mom. "Hi gran!" Paigey shouted. "Hello sweetheart. How is first grade going?" She told her everything.
