Chapter 6♡

(Nina's P.O.V)

I had woken up feeling very happy. Seth was so cute last night. Texting Olivia for a bit was so nice. She was pregnant. I was excited to hopefully meet up with her again. "Morning gorgeous." He was tanned, had blonde hair and brown eyes.. "Morning." As he brought the tray over, I blushed. "Thanks for the toast." Every time he looked at me, I got butterflies. "Last night was lovely." He was so goofy. "Yeah. It was. You're so cute." Feeding me, he just stared at me. "That is nice. What did you wanna do today?" Suggesting to take a walk to the shops, he said that sounded nice. "You do know that I really like you right?" I said I knew that he did. 'This breakfast was amazing. "Let's get dressed. I just need to text my friend." Taking the tray downstairs, I messaged Liv.

Hiya. How are you feeling?xx

As she replied, I looked at a note that Seth had left.

I'm really enjoying just spending time with you. You're funny, sweet, caring.. you're also very sexy too. I wanna keep seeing you. X

He was cute!

Liv texted back.

I'm alright. Morning sickness is starting to creep up on me. Elliot is just being super sweet as usual. How was your night?xx

My evening was great thankyou. Seth is so romantic. I'm seeing where things go though. Is it possible if I could come down to the station again? I'd like to try and complete my statement.😊😊

Getting up, Seth was just tidying up. I'd brought spare clothes so I decided to shower. Leaving my phone on the beside table, I looked in the mirror. My bruises hurt a lot. Every time Seth tried to even touch me like that, I'd freeze up.. letting the water run, I jumped in. He was very gentle though. Like, he kept asking if I was alright even if I flinched. Would I push him away eventually? Matthew just killed my confidence..

"You look awful. Turn around." His hand slithered on my back.. "Get undressed now." Pushing me on to our bed, I started crying. "Please.. Matthew.." He placed his hand on my  cheek. "Oh Matthew.. please do."  He continued to mock my voice.. he slowly started to unzipped his jeans. "You better behave yourself. Sweetheart."

"Nina!" Hearing the shower click off, I heard Seth calling me. He stood near the bedroom door. 'Are you alright?" I felt like crying. "Yeah. I'm ok. I'll be down in a bit." Putting on my stripy jumper with my jeans, I put on my trainers. Getting my make up, I just put it on. Hearing my phone, I checked the text. It was Liv.

That's super nice. Of course you can. I'll be in work today anyway. I'm really glad that you'll be making it. I know how hard it has been for you.😊x

I had only told her half of the truth though as I felt terrified. Going downstairs to the kitchen, I walked in with my shoes. 'Hey. Are you ok?' I just wanted to break  down.. sob. "I'm fine." Walking towards me, he just took my hand. 'I really, really like you. I think you're beautiful." He was really cute. "Thankyou. Last night was so sweet. I think you're pretty handsome and I like you as well." Getting my bag, I left his house. Heading to the precinct, I felt my phone buzz. It was Amanda.

Hey. How are you? Olivia told me about your interview today. You'll be ok.😊

Texting her back, I crossed the road to the precinct. It was so nice that they both cared. Standing outside, I just took a deep breath. I could do this. Walking in, I saw John, Finn and Elliot. "Hey Nina. Are you looking for Liv?" John asked me. Saying yes, he directed me to the questioning room. Knocking on, Liv was sat at the table. "Hi." My heart was beating so fast. Going to sit down, she reassured me that I could do this. "Amanda will be here soon." I informed her that she texted me. "Well, let's start."

I told her everything. "He sexually took advantage of me Liv. He shouted at me, verbally abused me.. then he did what he did." Liv felt my pain. She touched her stomach. "The sickness hasn't been great." She then asked me what happened next. "I left.. not knowing what to even do. I still feel disgusting. Then, I rang you." She stopped me there. "Would you like to still do the kit hun?" I was so scared of what may happen. "I suppose I'll have to." Taking my hand, she promised me that Finn, Munch, Elliot and Carisi were intent on catching him.

"Hi you two." Amanda popped her head in. "Hey." She came to sit down with us. "How are you doing Nina?" I now felt very weak.. "I'm doing ok. How's Jessie and Billie?" Showing us pictures of them, Liv smiled. "They are growing up so fast." Amanda laughed. "Jessie is just so overprotective of Billie. She's the complete opposite. She loves her independence. Even at 6 years old."

As Elliot knocked on the door, Nina stood up. "Hey ladies." Turning around, I blushed. "How's my gorgeous girl?" He placed his hands on my shoulders.. slowly rubbing them. "Your girl is good. Feeling sick, but I'm fine." We then decided to give them some time alone. "I can drive to the hospital with her. We'll just wait outside.' Amanda took Nina as Elliot kissed me. He loved touching my stomach. I thought I looked awful, but he encouraged me to love my changing body shape. 'A few kicks here and there. I think we're having a girl." He was so good looking.. my heart was fluttering.

"I had better get going. Do you need a hand?" Putting on some puppy dog eyes, he took my hand. Lifting me up from the chair. "I've got things to finish off. Cragen said that he needs me." Taking me outside, Amanda started the car. "You'll be fine." Talking about planning a couples night, we giggled about it. "We could organise something." Driving into the car park, I was nervous.

(Olivia's P.O.V)

I could sense that Nina was dreading this. "Hi. What can I do for you?" The receptionist booked me in. Going to sit down, Liv spoke to me Amanda about her recent pregnancy cravings. "I'm liking pickles with cheddar cheese at the moment." Amanda giggled. "I remember you telling me about this." She wasn't kidding. "I heard Elliot going to the shop at about midnight the other night." Nina told us. "I was craving something other than him." Amanda and Nina couldn't stop laughing. 'Nina Rodgers?" A nurse looked at her. "Yep. That's me." Walking into the room with her, I held her hand as she sat on the bed. "I've been told that you're here to do a kit." Gupling, she agreed. Amanda sat at the other side. Holding her hand as I did.

The nurse was nice and quick. "Liv.. it hurts.." She cried a bit.. "Shh.." The nurse then took her blood. "We'll get this tested. I'll be back soon." Amanda rubbed her shoulder as I rubbed my stomach. "You did so well. We're so proud of you." My phone then rang.

"It's Benson. Oh. Hey Finn. You've what?" Nina looked at me.. her eyes were wide. "Ok.  Take him back to the precinct. I'll be back soon. Tell Elliot not to worry please. I'm fine." Ending the call, Amanda asked me what had happened. "They've found Matthew.' Nina sat so still. "They've.. found that sick idiot?  You mean Finn, Elliot and Carisi?" Nodding my head, she cried. "You're safe.' Amanda just helped me comfort her.

A couple of hours later, the nurse came back with the results. "It did come back positive.. you were assaulted. And you're pregnant." Jumping off the bed, she ran outside into the corridor. "I'll go." I went outside.. looking for her. Amanda followed me as we wondered where she'd got to.

My best friend was hurting a lot..
