(Ariel's P.O.V)
Waking up early, I took my journal out of my bedside draw. Getting a pen, I wrote my first entry.

Dear Diary,

Today is day 1 of my recovery. I'm back home which is great. I'm glad that I went to rehab. I feel ok. I cannot wait to see Jason and Ria again. I'm also considering taking the prescription.

Hearing my siblings, I opened my bedroom door. "Caleb! No!" Paige said morning to me. "Hiya." Caleb was trying to climb on the sofa at like 6 in the morning. "Hey buddy. No." He kept giggling at us. "He's so cheeky." Asking my little sister if she wanted some breakfast, she said that she'd love some. "I have cheer practice later. It's going to be fun." Making some scrambled eggs, Caleb asked for some juice. Getting some, I gave him his beaker. "Hanks Ri." Ruffling his hair, he giggled. "So, tell me more about cheerleading and school sis." She told me about how she was progressing. "I can do jumps now. Cece can do the splits. We are getting there though." Giving Caleb some cereal, he ate it. Sitting down with my siblings, I heard my phone. It was Jason.

Morning beautiful. How are you?😊

He was so sweet!

I'm alright thanks. Giving mom and dad a break and feeding my two siblings this morning.

Aw! That's sweet. I'm organising our first date for tonight. Meet me in Central Park at 4pm.💕x

Hearing some footsteps, Dad stood near the kitchen door. "Morning sweetie." I said morning back. "How are you feeling?" I said that I was fine. He made a cup of coffee. "That's good. Thanks for sorting these two out. Your mom and I needed the extra sleep." I said it was ok. "Dada?" Caleb had milk all over him. "Yes buddy?" He giggled. "Lothes? Ater?" Taking him out of his highchair, he looked at me. His eyes were so cute.😍 "Let's go and get ready for the day." As Paige helped me clean up, I asked her how school was going. "I love it. Miss Haywood is great. Will you help me look through some family photos?" I said yes. "Of course. We'll have to ask Mom though." After putting the pots away, me and her went upstairs. "Buddy! Please stop splashing!" Dad kept giggling. Knocking on their bedroom door, I heard Mom. "Hey. Morning." She hugged me.

"Morning Ariel. You look happier." I told her that I wrote in my journal this morning. "That's amazing." I smiled at her. "I'm heading downstairs to get some breakfast." I then told her that Jason had texted me. "He said that he's hoping to take me out on our first date today." Dad and Paige then cooed. "That's so amazing sis! Can I help you pick an outfit?" I nodded. Heading into my bedroom, Paige looked through my wardrobe.

"This could be option one." It was so cute and grungy! I loved it. Red was one of my favorite colours. The shorts looked cute as well. "I'll look for another one." Paige then went to see Dad and Caleb. I found this really cute caramel colored jumper with some black leggings. Laying all the options out on my bed, I sent pics to my bestie. Sending each one, I went to get in the shower. Letting the water run over my body, I kept thinking about my family. They were pretty amazing. I know that I confessed to mom that I wanted to end things. I feel drained.. I scratched my arm.. spots of blood appeared. 'Just stop.. stop..' As I cried, I turned the shower off, I winced. It hurt. Getting some tissue, I wrapped it around my arm. It felt so sore. Getting a towel, I wrapped it around my body. Getting one for my hair, I wrapped that as well. Seeing my phone flash, it was Ria.

Option 1 looks so fab! You would look awesome in that. I'm seeing Jared later. Just as mates.. have fun on your first date!

Once I put my outfit on, I sorted my hair out. Putting it up in a ponytail, I brushed it. After that, I went downstairs. 'Ahh sweetie! You look so lovely.' Mom kissed my cheek. 'Yes you do sis.' Paige smiled at me. Dad then gave me some money. 'Thanks.' Mom said to have a good time. 'I will.' She also said to be safe. 'Let me know when you're with him.'
