The smell of all the people around me just begging me to let myself go and give in to what I am deeply craving. Blood, human blood. I followed my siblings into the cafeteria, even though we don't need to eat. I sat down, my eyes were drawn to a beautiful human, she had long mousy brown hair and light blue eyes. She made me forget that there were humans around for a moment I lost my thrust.

When she realised that I was looking at her she quickly turned back to her book her hair falling in front of her face like a curtain. I turned to my family, all of them with the same smug look on their faces. I didn't care as I looked back at the girl, she was the height of beauty. The most beautiful person I had ever seen and I live in a house full of vampires.

"Her name is Lilith if your wondering," Alice told me in the car on the way home. Her name was beautiful to match her face but I knew that I could not have her she was human, I was just a monster and she was a goddess, I would not risk hurting her. It would kill me if I hurt her, she deserved to be with someone living. I was destined for eternity alone.
