This one is Harrys pov

"Hey, it's me. I um kinda figured you wouldn't pick up, and you're probably busy so I'll just say this. I'm not good at admitting feelings and I never meant to hurt you by it. True emotions, like love, scare the shit out of me. If you haven't noticed I tend to keep my guard up. I was told not to do that and I'm trying, so here goes nothing. Um, I love you Harry... just call me back when you get this" you listen to a new voicemail on your phone. Rubbing your hands over your face, you let out a heavy sigh.
"You alright man?" Mitch pulls you out of your thoughts.
"Wha- oh yeah. Um let's just get this done" you change the subject and put down your phone.

After a few hours you're back home, alone. You turn on the tv to drown out your endless thoughts. A loud knock startles you. You slowly make your way to the front door, looking through the peep hole to see who it was. Y/n. You turn around, planning to ignore her when she starts talking.
"Harry. Um I don't know if you're home or not. Or if you can even hear me. But I figured this was better than apologizing over the phone. I'm sorry. I was scared to open up. To admit to myself that I love you." She pauses. You smile to yourself. "And I totally understand if you never want to talk to me again. But I just wanted to let you know that I love you too." You hear her sigh heavily. "He's probably not even home. And why would he want to talk to me anyway." You hear shuffling.
"Wait!" You burst the door open, startling her.
"Harry did you hear that because I-" you cut her off, pressing your lips to hers. Melting into each other's touch, it was familiar, safe, somethings out both felt empty without.
"I'm sorry" she sighs. You kiss her again, silently telling her it's okay.
"I love you" you pull her into your chest.
"I love you too" she smiles wide, your heart skips a beat, feeling butterflies. You missed that smile.

I'm sorry it's short. But I think this is kinda cute. Also I got both my vaccines and I'm happy bc people are actually getting it. I really hope everyone is doing good. I've been doing better mentally and it feels good to be open with the people in my life. Much love ❤️
