Sokka tensed up just by a bit and gestured for them to go quickly which to everyone complied by running

"is Suki home?" Sokka asked Suki's grandma that stood at the doorframe
"uh no...did something happen?" her grandma grew concerned at their faces
"uh, nothing! she just took a walk to the park, she texted me, sorry for wasting your time!" Aang made an excuse and closed the door to cause less worries
"spirits" Aang cursed followed by a sigh after closing the door
"what are we going to do? she clearly has something to hid" Toph rolled her eyes
"maybe like Aang said, at the park? she likes to go there a lot.." Zuko suggested
"yeah lets just go" Sokka firm tone echoed to the 'gaang'

"not here" Sokka said falling to the ground, tears on the brim on his eyes

"hey...i'm sure she went somewhere..." Katara looked around worried
"isn't there anywhere she goes to?" Zuko asked, thinking hardly
"well she does go to visit your parents like at the ceremony, on specials occasions ..." Toph thought out loud
"then that can be our last hope..." Aang replied
Sokka closed his eyes and thought for a moment but nodded and they all rushed to the location

"LOOK THERE SHE IS!" Toph pointed to a figure bending down
Sokka ran to the figure and everyone trailed behind
Suki then looked at the group and raised her brow
"WHAT WERE YOU DOING HERE!" Sokka lectured
"um, visiting my parents?" Suki replied
"you scared everyone, we truly missed you!" Meng squealed
"uh ha, why did you look for me?" Suki said confused and flattered
"isn't it obvious? we came here for you" Zuko gestured
"aww thank you, was there a surprise birthday I didn't attend?" Suki guessed
"YES!" Toph clicked her tongue
"aww sorry guys, you're so thoughtful thank you" Suki hugged the gaang
"how about we go to that surprise birthday again?" Suki suggested
Sokka nodded and mumbled he loved her
Suki giggled and the gang led her to the party she missed
. . .
"and surprise i guess, sorry for keeping you guys waiting!" Katara said to the others that were Suki's friends hiding for hours
They all dismissed it and yelled happy birthday to Suki and she was flustered by all the attention consuming her
"you guys shouldn't have" Suki smiled, tucking hair behind her ear
"anything for my babe!" Sokka wrapped his arms around Suki's waist
they kissed and everyone shielded their eyes while others awwed
