A/N: Big text wall will be coming up next. If you don't want to read it all, I completely understand. Here's the TL;DR - It just explains the cleaning mechanics like the x-ray, drill, and hammer and the battle mechanics, like AZ, SZ, EZ, and FP. Basic shit, really.

Kenny blinks his eyes open as the sight of his hotel room reminds him that he's a long way from home. He groans silently as he lifts himself out of bed. The clock above the empty shelf read 10:27 of the next day. He does a few stretches before donning his hat once more and putting on his shoes. Kenny pats himself down to remove most of the wrinkles on his clothing. He opens the door and heads out to the elevator. As he arrives on the lobby floor and steps out, the manager glances at him and nods. Kenny nods back at him.

Kenny exits the hotel and takes the path to the Fossil Center. He enters and Wendy takes notice of him.

Wendy: "Welcome to the Fossil Center," Kenny approaches the desk as Wendy recognizes him from yesterday, "Oh, you were here yesterday. Sorry to keep you waiting. Dr. Diggins has returned, fortunately. You should probably talk to him before he wanders off again...

Wendy: "Dr. Diggins is in the back room. Please enter through the door on your right. Good luck, then. Head on into the back room."

Wendy does a small bow and Kenny returns it. He walks up to the door and enters. He sees Dr. Diggins and approaches him and Diggins takes notice of him.

Dr. Diggins: "Oh! Hi there! Kenny, right?" Kenny nods his head yes, "I'm Dr. Diggins. I'm the director and head researcher for the Fossil Center. Good to meet you properly."

Kenny: "Nice to meet you proper, Dr."

Dr. Diggins: "Sorry if I was a little... scattered when we met before. This place keeps me really, really busy, you know? Kenny, fossil hunting is all kinds of fun. I should know-- it's my life's work! I've been interested in fossils since I was just a little boy... Let me tell you a story, Kenny."

Dr. Diggins: "I broke my mother's favorite teacup and tried to hide it... by burying it in the garden! A few shovels scoops of dirt later, I found a strange rock. I stopped digging to get a closer look at it. It turned out to be a stegosaurus fossil!" He chuckles a bit before continuing.

Dr. Diggins: "I was so excited, I forgot what I was doing in the first place! I ran inside to show my mother. She asked me where I found it, and before I knew it, I had to explain why I was digging in the garden. I've only seen my mother that angry a few times, but even so, I was excited by my discovery! ... That stegosaurus fossil is still my most prized possession. But enough about me! Let me explain about being a Fossil Fighter."

Dr. Diggins leads Kenny to a large machine in the back of the room. It had a large window on the machine, enabling people to look inside the machine. It was mostly dark inside the machine, though a faint grid pattern could be seen if one squints hard enough. It also had a control panel to the right of the window.
