Chapter 5

"So Aleyna, welcome to the family" I introduced Aleyna and all the staff give her applause as the new editor.

"I will do my best. Thank you for this opportunity." she smiled at me and all the people in that room.

That was her first day on the office. And she started all of it very well. Perhaps my first reason to establishes her as new editor is because of my ego. Because I want to get to know more about her,i want to be around her,closer with her.

But after I saw what she did to clean up the mess due our previous editor did. She more than my expectations.

Day by day, month by month, she can adapt well. Jobs and this town. It's been 3 month since she work here.

2 years ago, she moved to Korea from Bandung,in terms of her father's job. She moved to South Korea. Seoul, to be exact.

She worked as an editor for one and a half years in Seoul. So this is not the first time she work as an editor.

She has an older brother, four years older than her. And now her family lives here.

And how can I know that? lucky me, we are getting closer after she works here. My secret plan was going well, just said that.

We share many things, and now we became closer.

Not that close,we're friend,just friend.

My life is so much better after she came. Although just as friend.

Speak about friend. My stupid lovely friend Gale called me.

Thousand times this afternoon. And he texted me,there's something he need to talk to,woman case.

Me and Gale never slide our "quality talk" even once and in fact,right now I'm sitting in Jord Coffee and waiting for Gale and my frapucino hazelnut.

'There he come' i mutter.

Gale sit in front of me and he put my coffee on the table.

"So, how was your work?" he asked me,he looked toward the window.

"Everything went well. More than I expected. Our new editor is very smart and hardworker, she's so good. She's the best." I smiled knowingly.

"Mr.Syandria, your smile is so full of meaning. Is she special?" Gale guessed correctly.

"Truth is. Yes she's special for me. Because she looks perfect, she could fix all the job problems that driving me crazy!!!"

I answered him,furious.

Anyway,he called me for women that he just met, I was curious about that women. A women who made him call me thousand times this day.

"And the girl, who is she? How far your relationship? Where did you met her?" I asked, more like interrogating.

"I met her...accidentally,i gave her my number. After that,she called me. And we still in contact. We had dinner yesterday, we're still friend, but I hope there will be time to make her mine. We met in Harford Library 3 weeks ago" He laughed, and I know, from the way Gale talk about her, Gale fell for her.
