*Kuroo's POV*

"Ah... I'm actually 30 minutes earlier this time," I thought to myself as I reached the university gate and sat on the nearest bench.

I grabbed my phone and used it like a mirror, checking my jet blacked hair which seemed to be messier than usual.

"Should I cut my hair? My fringe is partially covering my right eye now," I asked myself before my phone rang a notification.

There was a messenge on our class group chat. Our professor sent us an announcement that he would not be holding his lecture for today. Instead, he left an activity sheet for us at the faculty office and it was to be submitted next week.

I couldn't help but sigh.

"You do know that sighing is bad, right?" a voice suddenly interrupted the silence around me.

I looked up and saw that it was L/n-san.

"That's what the elders back at my hometown would say," she added with a smile.

I smiled back at her. "Are you superstitious like them?"

She hummed before saying, "I guess you could say that I am."

Her response made me chuckle.

I stood up and returned my phone back into my pocket.

"Anyway, L/n-san, have you read the professor's message?" I asked.

"He sent a message?" she asked back, clearly having no idea about it as she grabbed her phone.

She read the message on the class group chat, mumbling the words at the process. When she was done, she let out a groan.

"And this is the only class that we have for today, too. I came all the way here for nothing," she said while returning her phone back.

"Nah, it's not for nothing. At least, we can get the activity sheet earlier," I grinned.

A few minutes later, we headed to the faculty office and grabbed a copy of the activity sheet. Not long after that, we found ourselves walking out of the building.

"So, you heading back to your apartment now?" I asked her.

"Nah," she responded. "I'm actually stopping by to buy some groceries before heading home."

I hummed and then a thought suddenly came across my mind. "Now that I think about it, we're actually running out of milk so I gotta stop by to buy some," I told her.

L/n-san raised her eyebrow, silently questioning what I just said.

I couldn't help but grin as I was amused at her. "What? You don't believe me?" I asked.

"Well, in the short amount of time that we've known each other, I could tell that you buying some milk is just an alibi," she replied.

"Oh. An alibi, you say," I indulged her.

"Yup. Alibi or excuse or whatever you want to call it," she elaborated. "You just want to spend more time with me, Kuroo-san," she said with such a teasing smile.

And it made my grin grew wider.

"Oya? Bold of you to assume that I wanna spend more time with you, L/n-san. Though, that's exactly what I want right now," I told her, not even hiding my intentions towards her.

Her cheeks were slightly flushed as she chuckled and I couldn't help but think about how nice it sounded.

Several minutes passed by as we walked towards the grocery store. Upon reachimg there, L/n-san grabbed a shopping cart and wasted no time to buy her necessities.
