My heart raced with fear as my feet quickly ran through the dark forest. It's been about five minutes since I started running and haven't stopped since. Sadly I've lost Sam and Dean on the way. They were right behind me seconds ago, helping kill this wendigo. Now I'm in the open and it could take me at any minute. To say I'm terrified would be an understatement.

With each step I take it gets closer and closer. When feeling safe enough I hid behind a tree to catch my breath. This is actually my first time hunting this specific monster. I'm more skilled in vampires and shapeshifters and whatnot. But this is sort of new to me. Of course we did our research, especially me. I'm just hoping to survive long enough to make it back to my boyfriend and Dean.

The noises suddenly stopped and everything around me went quiet. The only thing to be heard is my heart beating rapidly inside my chest. Without any warning I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned to gladly see it's Sam. We both looked incredibly relieved to see one another. "Where's Dean?" I asked confused.

"It got him but I'm happy we found you. Now we need to get him back...alive."

Nodding my head we rushed to find any sort of clues as to where this thing might be keeping the oldest Winchester. Hours passed and we found nothing. The longer the time that passes the harder it's going to be in finding him. We suddenly hear a scream and rushed to see if it's Dean. Hopefully it was him and that he's okay.

We stopped dead in our tracks when seeing the wendigo getting ready to kill Dean. "We need to kill this thing and fast." I stated. Sam nodded and we tried coming up with a plan quickly.

"Your not going to like this but I need you to run. Get as far away as possible from this thing."

"What? You can't fight this thing on your own and Dean needs us?" I refused to leave when my boyfriend and best friend is in danger. He sighed and grabbed my arms in his strong hands. He looked into my eyes worriedly and I could tell he isn't asking me.

"I know your a hunter and this is what you love doing but please just run." He begged. I contemplated it before kissing him sweetly then running back in the direction of the impala. All I could hear were screams coming from the men as I went back. Why would he even ask me to go if they need my help?

Thirty minutes later and they met me back at the car. Dean had some pretty serious injuries and as for Sam, just some cuts and bruises. I felt relieved seeing them alive and hugged the both of them. "I'm so happy your okay?"

"Thanks. Me too." Dean nodded then got into the car.

"I'm sorry for asking you to leave like that but I had a bad feeling and couldn't risk losing you. I love you y/n and with this job it's so easy to lose people. I don't want you to be one of them." He sighed. I cupped his cheeks and smiled warmly at him.

"It's okay, I understand completely. I love you Sam."

"I love you too." He replied before kissing me softly. It didn't last long when we heard the groaning of Dean in the drivers seat of the impala.

"No chick flick moments." He yelled making the two of us laugh. We got back into the car and began our drive home. It took forever but we got back and took long showers. Cas healed Dean's wounds while Sam and I decided to go to bed early tonight. It's been a long day and one we all want to put behind us.

I'm just glad everyone came out safe and no one had to die. Because like Sam said, we do lose people in this line of business. It's hard and really takes a toll on a person. That's one of the reasons I understood why he asked me to walk away on this one.

"Goodnight Sam," I whispered contently.

"Goodnight y/n." He replied.
