I had this song in mind when writing this chapter 😊
Biblical by Calum Scott

The screen got blurry for a minute, which is my cue to stop what I'm doing. With a sigh I shut the computer and put down the lore book in my hands. The guys and I are researching for a case right now and I've been staring at that computer screen for far too long now. So far all we know about our monster is that it's a werewolf.

We're not sure what it's motives are or why it's specifically only attacking other werewolves. There weren't any human victims and it just isn't adding up. This case has really got the Winchester's stumped and they're frustrated. I'm confident we will figure it out but just not right now. I jump a little when Dean groans and slams his computer shut.

"This just doesn't make any sense." He states.

"I know." Sam agrees. We sat in silence for a minute until Sam's phone started ringing. He answered it as we waited to see if it's an update. The murders are happening in the town where Jody lives and she promised to call if she got a lead. Maybe she did and we can finally finish this. "Guys, she's got something. We need to leave like right now." He said.

Feeling some hope, we got packed up and left for this case. The car ride felt tense as I'm cramped in the backseat between Cas and Jack. Sam and Dean never let anyone sit up front other than Sam. One time I asked for shotgun and Sam gave me a pointed look while saying no. A sigh leaves my mouth as I rest my head on Cas' shoulder.

I felt him tense up so I wrapped my arm around his and rested my eyes. "Am I making you uncomfortable?" I ask him. He clears his throat and wraps his arm around my shoulders.

"No, it's okay." He assured. I look up and swore I saw a glare coming from Dean through the rear view mirror. Wonder what's up with him. The ride is going to be long so I figured why not cuddle next to Cas. It's never been an issue before because we're good friends.

Although this is something I'm not happy to admit. I've had a crush on both Dean and Cas for a while now. It's hard because I don't know how I feel or if I'm in love with one of them more than the other. I also don't want to hurt anyone's feelings so I just kept it to myself. Not that they'd like me back or anything.

Without even knowing it I had fallen asleep and was woken by Cas shaking me lightly. Slowly, my eyes opened and looked around tiredly. "We've made it." He whispers to me. I nod and climb out of the impala. A smile appears on my face seeing we're at Jody's house.

She came outside to greet us with warm hugs. "It's good to see you again." She says while hugging me.

"The feeling is mutual." I grin. She invites us inside where we sit down on the couch and start talking about the case. She begins filling us in on the lead that she had found. "Wait so you've identified the werewolf?" Sam asked.

"Yes and there's a problem." She says worriedly.

"What?" I ask, a frown on my face.

"It's a boy from the high school that Alex goes too. He took her and I can't seem to find her anywhere. Claire went to look for her but she called me an hour ago saying she hasn't found anything yet." Jody tells us. Cas sighs as I try and think of anything that could help us.

Our research didn't say much other than it's some wild animal attacking people. This is all just so confusing. "But Alex isn't a werewolf so why take her?" I asked.

"Yeah what would he want wit-" Dean started but stopped realizing something. "Didn't you say she's been seeing someone?"

Jody nods and it finally clicks in everyone's heads. It must be her so called boyfriend that took her and she didn't know he's a werewolf. "I'll start making some phone calls." Jody says while taking out her phone.

"I'm gonna head out and look for her." Dean says.

"I'll come with you." I tell him and follow him out the door. I get into the passenger seat as the two of us head off in search of our friend. The ride fell silent for a few minutes until he spoke.

"So you and Cas...when did that happen?" He raises an eyebrow but never taking his eyes off the road. I laugh and look at him as if he's grown three heads.

"Never. We're only friends, Dean. Why?" I smirk at him. He shakes his head and stays silent for a moment. Then his head turns to give me a quick glance. There's this bit of sadness in his eyes before he looks back at the road.

"No reason. I think we should find Alex first and hopefully Claire isn't too far behind." He said trying to change the subject. I only agree and stare out the window annoyed. But I'm annoyed with myself for not being honest with Cas or Dean.

After like ten minutes we pass this field with a small dirt road that leads to a large farm house. "Maybe we should check there." I suggest. It is discreet and a good place to hide someone. Without saying anything he pulls onto the road and we head to the house. Dean shuts the car off and we began our walk to the front door.

I knock a few times but there isn't an answer. "Looks like no one is-" he starts only for us to hear a blood curdling scream from inside the home. We share worried glances and bust inside. He checks the upstairs while I take the main floor. When there wasn't any sign of a person around I see a door that I haven't checked and open it.

Much to my surprise it leads to a basement. I head down the steps cautiously with my gun held high. My eyes widened seeing Alex tied to a chair and Claire laying next to her unconscious. I rush to see if Claire is alive and feel relieved when she is. I then start to untie Alex while asking if she's okay.

"I'm okay," she nods. "This wasn't supposed to happen. He said it was a study date and I-" she started but stopped as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"It's okay," I reassure her. "I'm here and Dean is right upstairs."

Her eyes widen and she looks behind me. "Y/n watch out!" She yells and I turn to find the boy, well werewolf. That's all I see before everything goes black.
