The Dark and The Light-Billy

Talking

"Kitten" a voice whispered "Kitten" I groaned and rolled over in bed "you have to get up" Billy laughed smoothing my hair

"No, I don't want too" I whined snuggling back into my pillows and turning away from him

"Come on," he said trying to pull me out of bed

"Stop" I sighed but he suddenly picked me up making me yelp "Billy" I wrapped my legs around his waist so I didn't fall

"Hanna," he said holding me in his arms "we have work to do"

"But I want to sleep" I pouted, he kissed the tip of my nose softly

"You're adorable, did you know that?" he asked smiling

"Obviously" I laughed and he rolled his eyes playfully still holding onto me

"did we miss something?" a voice asked, we both whirled around to see B and Leo smirking at us, I blushed and looked away "since when did you start kissing my sister?" Leo asked

"Since now" Billy responded simply and B gave me a knowing smile

"We need to talk with Spike and Jess," B said "I don't want to ruin whatever this is but.." she trailed off raising her eyebrows, I grew a tiny bit nervous, it was like she and Leo had been waiting for this

"Ok," I said and was ready for Billy to put me down but he just carried me up the stairs. Jess and Spike were waiting for us, Spike already knew about Billy and me but the others didn't seem surprised at all in fact I thought Leo would freak out

"We spoke to one of the nurses at the hospital," B said referring to the weird injuries that keep happening to people all over "there have been other victims, one missing part of his liver, one part of his lung, it goes on"

"So what?" Billy asked, "Spike said there were new monsters all over the city last night, what's special about this one?"

"Sherlock told me about a case" B informed him "the only one he never managed to solve, left leg, right leg, left arm, right arm, all taken, wounds healed miraculously just like this place"

"We think someone is trying to build a whole person out of other peoples body parts," Leo said "whatever power they had to do this must have stopped when B and Jessie's" Leo stopped talking about the sensitive subject, B and Jessie's mom had died while closing the Rip the first time and that's when everyone's powers were taken away "when the Rip closed the first time, now the rip is open, they've continued"

"I still don't see what our plan is" Billy snapped angrily, I held onto him tighter trying to get him to calm down "so what if it's happening again, who cares? what's the point? how does that help us find the Rip? Jessie can't get far enough into these monster's heads to see where it is anyway"

"The point is Billy," B retorted "of all the cases Watson is interested in this one and we in him" I hadn't quite been keeping up with what was going on with B and John Watson but I knew they weren't on great terms

"What if there's another way we can find the Rip" Spike said looking at Jess

"No" Jess shook her head

"You said if you went deeper into your nightmares into that big cavern hall place-"

"I can't, I'm not doing it again" Jess cried

"I know it must be horrible," Leo said "but you must remember that you can leave at any time so I struggle to see why"

"You don't know what it's like" B yelled "I'm not staying in there I'm not doing it" I scoffed at my brother throwing my hands up and I went after Jess Billy started yelling and so did B

"Just stop alright, just stop" Spike yelled "Look, we're all just a bit tired, let's all take a deep breath" B started talking about some sort of plant but I wasn't paying attention, there was a faint ringing sound in my head and I felt an overwhelming feeling of tiredness

"I'm not interested mate" Billy yelled bringing me back to reality "I've got things to do and there's enough of you without me to deal with it" he gave everyone a dirty look "deal with it" he walked out of the cellar and I ran after him stumbling slightly

"Hanna" B grabbed my arm "are you alright? you don't look well"

"I-I'm fine," I told her smiling a bit but then I went after Billy who was marching down the street "Billy, Billy stop" I yelled his eyes softened when he saw me "please talk to me," I said softly

"I went down to the workhouse to check the records to see if what he said was true," Billy told me, from the silence that followed I assumed Vic hadn't been lying "I want to hurt him," Billy said

"No, you can't"

"Yes I can"

"Billy little kids are supposed to be protected, you couldn't have saved B even if you tried"

"I hate him, Hanna," he said

"I know but do you really want to destroy yourself over this?" I asked "You're tough Billy but you have a good heart and those with good hearts can't hurt others without hurting themselves"

"You know I love you right," he said softly

"I love you too Billy," I told him bringing him into a hug "I need you, Billy, we need your heart there's no replacement for that"

"You're good at talking, it's not fair" he laughed kissing me softly, I loved him so so much and it hurt me to see how broken he was

"Hanna we have a problem," Leo said suddenly grabbing my arm I looked at him with wide eyes wondering what could make him so scared "Daimler's here"
