miguel: you do?

i've always had something for miguel ever since he moved here. my dad, johnny lawrence, is his sensei. i met miguel through my dad. we became best friends ever since. yet i've always wished that we were more than best friends. but he will always have his eye out for sam.

"hey y/n! you ready?" he asks coming into my room

"hi miggy! yeah i'm ready let me grab my backpack." i say. we walk out and head to my car. i go over to open the passenger door for him "ladies first" i say

"oh shut up" he says laughing and gets in. i close the door and make my way to the drivers seat.

"alright. we have about 5 mins to spare. so what do you want to do?" i ask

"well we could drive around and talk?" he suggest putting on his seatbelt as i do the same

"sounds good." i drive off. "so what do you want to talk about."i ask

"it's about me and sam." great here we go

"good or bad?" i ask

"bad but good?" he says

"okay well go on."

"at the party, at the canyon, she came with this dude. the dude i saw at her house when i went. she told me he works with her dad. but i was drunk and mad that she was already ignoring me. yet she was only ignoring me because she got her phone taken- i cut him off

"miggy i've heard this story. what's your point?" i ask

"well remember how we got together later on?"

"yes i remember very clearly" they got together a bit after miguel was back on his feet.

"well robby is kinda back and she's been with him.. A LOT. every time i text her to hang, she says she's busy with robby. what the hell does that even mean? so i went to her house. and she was fucking cheating on me right in front of my eyes. i broke up with her. but it hurt me so bad." he says as we get off the car since we arrived at school already

"holy shit migs i'm so sorry." i say giving him a hug.

"it's okay. but the good thing is-

"hey! there's my favorite girl!" hawk. he's my other best friend. the one i also have feelings for. we've only hooked up a couple times. nothing really BIG.

"hey eli!" i'm the only one he let's call him that.

"hey bro" miguel says doing their handshake

"el serpiente! how's it going since your you know." he says

"yeah i'm okay. i was just going to tell y/n that i-

"hey! the whole groups here!" demetri says walking over with sam.

"what do you want." me and eli say at the same time to sam

"what? this is my friend group too you know" she says

"not anymore. not after what you did to miguel. why don't you go shove your tongue down some others boys throat then break his heart princess?" i say. she tries to throw a punch until counselor blat comes

"what is going on here?" she says "why aren't you in class?"

"we were just on our way" miguel says putting his hands on my shoulders leading me inside

"as i was saying, it's a good thing i broke up with her because- " the bell rings

"tell me after okay migs? i have to go walk with eli to class." i say

"yeah yeah. for sure." he gives me a hug and walks off with his head down

"that's weird" i say and feel hands around me

"ready princess?!" eli says.

"yeah okay let's go ." i say getting out of his grip

~time skip~
miguel told me to meet him at his house. he never got the chance to tell me why it was a good thing him and sam broke up. i make my way to his house across from mine. i'm about to knock until i hear voices

"what do you want sam?" miguel says

"i wanted to say i'm sorry okay! i love you! and i want to be with you!" she says. my mouth falls open

"i don't care! i love y/n more than anyone! she was the one who stayed by my side in the hospital and ever since. where were you? picking fights with my friends?" he says. i look through the window to see what is going on.

"please, i'm sorry." sam tries to lean in for a kiss so i barge in and stand in between slightly shoving her back

"you better back off." i say

"or what?" she says. i put my fists up in a defensive way but miguel uses his hands to bring them down

"sam, just leave and never talk to me again." miguel says

"fine. i hope you're happy with yourself y/n." sam says walking out the door

"oh i am!" i say closing it

"so..." miguel says

"so you love me huh?" i say teasing him

"shut up." he says. "but yes, i really do. and i have for so long. i never said anything because i was with sam and you were with hawk and-

"woah woah. me and hawk aren't a thing. we never were. we were just fuck buddies for sometime." i say

"oh, i didn't know. it's just. maybe i should have never said anything." before he could say anything else, i cut him off with a kiss

"miggy, i love you too. and i have for a really love time."

"really? why did you never say anything." he says

"the same reason you never did." he brings me into a kiss. he taps the back of my thighs signaling for me to jump. i do and wrap my legs around his torso. he brings us to his room not breaking the kiss and lays me on the bed crawling on top of me.

"migs, your mom and yaya are home" i say breaking the kiss

"so you're gonna have to stay quiet." he says kissing me again. he lifts my shirt. he looks at me asking if it's okay

"yes miggy, i want you." and with that he takes my shirt off
