Many hours later, Yoshiki stepped off the plane at Dublin International airport

Many hours later, Yoshiki stepped off the plane at Dublin International airport. He pulled his coat tighter around him. There was a chill in the air and it was raining a light drizzle. He hurried towards the interior of the airport with the other first-class passengers and started towards baggage claim. Mato had explained that he had also booked him a Japanese driver so he could get around easily without worrying about trying to read or speak English. But even if he did, he noticed it would have been technically moot as almost every sign was in a different language. Irish he assumed and the English translations were smaller and harder to see. He supposed he would need to get better at English then at least, especially now that he would have a trilingual child, when she or he were able to speak.

He made it to baggage claim without incident and was now waiting for his case to come out on the carousel. He crossed his arms across his chest and rested his weight on one leg. His mother had taken the news surprisingly well. He was expecting her to take his head from his shoulders but she had pulled him into a hug and told him that everything would be ok. He had spent the remainder of his time talking to her about this whole thing. He had told her his fears and his hopes and she had nodded silently listening to him, in her usual graceful way. When he was finished, she had reassured him that everything he was feeling was normal and that he was too for having them. She had then shared that she was feeling kind of excited about the prospect of a grandchild, even if he hadn't followed traditions, but that she understood things were different now than what they were when she was getting ready to marry his father. Talking with her had settled him down and made him feel better about the whole thing. It really did make a difference knowing that you weren't alone in something like this.

He flipped his hair back from his shoulder, so it fell down his back. He had kept it down rather than tie it back. As he did this, he noticed a woman to the left of him, from the corner of his eye, watching him closely. Her look was hooded and one he knew all too well. He groaned quietly to himself, as he saw her make her way towards him. Normally, he would have been open to receive that attention and she was quite pretty but not now. He had more important things to worry about. And as though the Gods were looking down on him, just before she reached him his case came out and he grabbed it as it passed. He then spun quickly and walked towards the arrival lounge. He didn't bother to look back because honestly, he had no reason nor desire too.

As he walked through the arrivals lounge, he stopped and grabbed a coffee, his English sufficient enough for this. Once he had it in hand, he walked towards the ride stands and quickly found his name and driver. The driver bowed to him and greeted him.

"Good evening Hayashi-san. I am Matsu Koichi."

"Matsu-san, it is good to meet you." He answered with a bow as well.

"Would you like to go to the hotel first Sir? Or to your ladies address?" Koichi asked as he took Yoshiki's case and led him outside to a waiting silver mercedes.

"She's not my lady. Well, not in the traditional sense. But I think the hotel first and then her house." He answered. Koichi nodded and opened the back passenger door for him, then closed it behind him.
