Monday morning came and I got ready for my first day at a new school.

I put my hair in braids and put on some converse. Then I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs.
"Hey, Care. Come eat some breakfast."
"Can't. Don't want to be late for school."
"Caroline, your father and I want to have breakfast with you."
"Mom, I have to be at school in 20 minutes. Maybe tomorrow?"
"Alright. Go. Don't be late."
I left my house and practically ran to school.
Once I got there, I had 10 minutes to get my books from my locker and get to class. I quickly turned a corner, running straight into Ethan and Benny.
"Sorry, guys."
"You know, if you're going to keep running into me, you should at least let me take you out."
"So he talks."
Benny laughs and looks at me.
"Yeah. I do. But seriously go out with me."
"I wouldn't want your girlfriend to get mad."
"I don't have a girlfriend."
"Right. I'll think about it. I should get to class."
I left the two guys and went to my English class.
