CHAPTER 11

Ashley concealed a triumphant smirk, observing Sarah's discomfort and anxious attempts to dissuade her from playing the video. She relished the thrill of taking such a bold step.

"Why hesitate, Sarah? Could it be because the hidden truth behind your marriage is about to be laid bare?" Ashley taunted with a proud and confident demeanor, but Sarah remained skeptical of her intentions.

"No, because some moments between a husband and wife are private and not meant for sharing with others. I'm afraid everyone would feel awkward about your actions."

"Yes, Sarah's correct. It's inappropriate to listen to the recording of a bride and groom's intimate moments."

Stella, the wife of Jack Walter, the elder son of Julia and Andrew, voiced her agreement.

"I'm with Stella on this; it's truly unethical. How can we eavesdrop to a recording of Stefan and Sarah's wedding night?" Jack, Stella's husband, sided with her.

"Hmm, I concur. Ashley, now that you're part of the Walters' family, it's time to exhibit more refined behavior. Put an end to your drama and get ready; we have numerous rituals to carry out," Julia said sternly, walking away from the scene.

Ashley was certain her plan would work this time, but no one seemed to be taking her seriously, and she blamed it all on Sarah, who always had a way of manipulating everyone effortlessly.

Ashley cast a resentful gaze at Sarah, who responded with a careless shrug of her shoulders.

"Mom, please wait, listen to me. I assure you there's nothing to get embarrass pp in this recording. I heard it myself - they're both faking their relationship," Ashley insisted earnestly, hoping to persuade Julia.

A wave of strange expressions washed over everyone, including Ronald.

"Mom, Dad, please, just trust me this once and listen to this audio. Ronald, can't you say something?"

Ronald felt a pang of discomfort since he had listened about the recording of Stefan and Sarah's wedding night. He didn't want to delve into the content, but he blindly believed in Ashley. He wished for Ashley to be proven right, unveiling the truth about Stefan and Sarah's relationship.

"Mom, Dad, I have faith in Ashley; she doesn't lie. If she's saying something, it must be the truth. Give her a chance to prove herself."

Sarah couldn't help but chuckle inwardly when Ronald vouched for Ashley's honesty, his unwavering support for Ashley, is nothing but an irony considering the situation.

"Alright, only because Ronald trusts you, I'll give you one chance to prove yourself," Julia conceded.

"Mrs. Walter, are you sure?" Andrew interjected, seeking reassurance. Julia responded with a subtle blink, signaling her confidence in the decision.

Ashley excitedly started the recorder and Stefan's voice could be heard.

"Sit here and let's introduce ourselves to each other."

Their conversation when they both introduced themselves to each other was playing on, then Stefan said, "Alright it's quite late, let's go to sleep."

"Ahh, ouch......"

A minute later Sarah's moan could be heard and Sarah and Stefan closed their eyes, getting embarrassed.

"I am sorry baby, actually I haven't made out with anyone since Valerie has departed."

Stefan's husky voice echoed.

"Even it's my first time, honey, please be gentle........."

Sarah's moaning husky voice was playing on the recorder, when Ronald came forward, snatch the recorder from Ashley's hand and tossed it to the floor, and trampled it under his foot.
