the day had started normally in the chaotixs headquarters 

or for at least a small bee 

Charmy was happily treating himself to a bit of his secret stash of snacks 

deciding that after the last mission he and his team had been through, he deserved it, especially with the ridiculous outfits they had to wear to blend in 

vector just didn't seem to have an embarrassing noticing bone in his body 

and with how big he was, that was a surprise

his other team member however did not share the same trait, completely refusing to wear some of them that he deemed "too embarrassing" and "would disgrace his reputation" 

and by the slamming and shouting of downstairs, the two hadn't let it go 

or seemed to find another thing to argue about 

that's all they ever seemed to do 

flying down he decided to see what the new drama was about 

"I cannot honestly believe you spent our money like this!" espio shouts became louder 

"hey! when you pay the bills, then you can lecture me about money" vector joined in 

"We do not need for this?! you and charmy will use it once, get bored of it, forget it and it'll go in the junk, literally throwing money down the drain" espio continued 

when the little bee heard his name he decided to make himself seen 

"what's going on you two?" charmy asked 

"ah, glad your here charmy, help us settle an argument will ya," vector said, his anger turning into gladness when the youngest member entered the scene 

"you have no right to make him choose sides, this is an argument between us so leave him be" espio scolded, stepping in front of charmy before vector could 

"We aren't talking about custody esp, we're talking about a well-deserved treat machine that will benefit the company" vector sighed before talking over the chameleon so charmy could hear 

"I'm intrigued," charmy said with excitement 

"well, feast your eyes on this beauty" vector said as he showed on the machine 

it was a massive ice cream machine, three areas for vanilla, chocolate and strawberries 

"wow!" charmy gasped as his eyes turned to stars 

"isn't it great, now we can have ice cream whenever we want" vector exclaimed 

"yeah, that and no actual food, heating, water or electricity as this cost us all of that" espio grumbled 

but the two didn't seem to hear him as they were too preoccupied with the ice cream 

charmy tilting his head up and pulling the lever to let the ice cream fall into his mouth 

espio shook his head, trying to comprehend what was going through their minds 

"come on esp, admit it, this was a good investment" vector chuckled, seeing it was two against one 

"I will do no such thing, it was a stupid investment that's going to make us all go hungry, and no ice cream does not count as real food" espio hissed at vector as well as interrupting charmy before he could argue himself
