First thoughts: I think this ship is pretty cute. I like this in general, and in the anime its alright. I actually thought of the possibility of rowlet being female even though everyone uses it as male. When it comes to the anime though, I'd probably ship Ash's rowlet with Mallow's steenee. (Also I am kinda sad he doesn't evolve his rowlet).
Would I read a fic of it: Despite being a litlio fan, I totally would. I actually ship all of the alolan starters together. I like litlio, rowlitten, and rowlio.
