-3rd POV-

Grace woke up with a startled expression.

Her eyes immediately turning white.

She heard a shriek and looked up to see Lavender Brown and Parvati Patil looking at her scared.

They ran out of the room scared and Grace heard their muffled voices

"Why did her eyes do that?!!" Lavender asked

"Well what do you expect, he dad is a murderous lunatic," Parvati said with clear disgust in her tone

Grace stood up and noticed the dorm was empty.

She looked around the common room and no one was there except for Hermione.

"Hey, Hermione! What's going on? And where is everyone," Grace asked

Grace could tell Hermione was a little upset

"I don't know" Just then Harry and Ron walked in

They grabbed their friends wrists and took them somewhere Grae didn't recognize

"I thought we could do our homework out here today since it was so nice!" Ron said

Grace snorted

"Ronniekins? Homework? I don't think so." Grace said very snarkily

"It's true Ron and me wanted some help and are trying to get our grades up," Harry said clearly lying

Grace and Hermione looked at each other and burst out laughing

"That's funny-" Hermione started

Out of habit, Grace finished her sentence

"Ron and Harry wanting to do homework" Grace laughed but didn't notice they were all looking at her

"Sorry? I'm just really good at guessing what people are about to say?" Grace said trying to cover up the fact that she could read minds

Ron and Harry looked convinced Well I know why they aren't in Ravenclaw Grace thought to herself

Hermione looked at her suspiciously

"Well, I forgot to tell you guys!" Hermione said

The others looked at her confused

"Today I turn 14!" She said excitedly

"Happy Birthday" The boys said very fakely

"WHAT?" Grace yelled

"Todays my birthday?" SHe said cautiously

"That's cool!" Grace said

Everyone looked confused

"Oh, I guess I never said anything, I also turn 14 today!" Grace said

The boys then got up and jetted leaving the confused girls behind
