Dateline: August-September 1997

The boy was just on his way to school from his house to start his first day of Second Grade. He started walking, and not even five minutes after he left the house, he spotted a familiar figure filled with bushy-brown hair in front of him. He took a minute to process what's going on in his mind right now until he finally gave in his nervousness and walked towards the figure. The figure is a girl, and her height is about 4 ́6'' highlighted with chocolate-covered eyes to go along with her bushy-brown hair. She turned her head around to see a boy walking behind her. The boy was highlighted with his bright blue eyes and his messy jet-black hair. She stopped and stared at the boy who was coming towards her.

"Hey." the boy said, "Excited for the first day of school?!"

"I guess," the girl said nervously.

"Hey, don't worry. I'm nervous too. I just can't stop thinking of what Second grade's going to be." said the boy.

"I wonder what First Grade's going to be like," said the girl.

"Don't worry. If you need any help with First grade, you can always ask me for help!" said the boy in a helpful manner.

"Thanks!" said the girl. "Um... what's your name?"

"Oh, I'm Daniel, Daniel Radcliffe. But everyone calls me Dan for short. And you are?" said the boy, holding his hand out to the girl.

"Emma, Emma Watson," said the girl shaking Dan's hand.

"Nice to meet you," they both said together.

"I saw you walking from your house five minutes ago," said Emma. "So... we DO live in the same neighbourhood." said the kids.

"Where do you live?" questioned Emma.

"I live a couple of houses down there. Just two houses down on the right before the stop sign, and I could see that you live close by," said Dan, pointing at a rather normal-sized house.

"How about this?" Dan turned back to Emma and looked her in the eyes.

"After school, why don't you and I work on some homework together, and I can teach you a preview of what you're going to learn next year when you hit second grade?"

Emma thought for a minute and said, "Why not! I would always like a study partner for school! I'll ask my parents if I'm allowed to think after school." Emma admitted,

"Don't worry! I've heard that my parents are always friendly, especially when it comes to neighbours who live close by!" said Dan.

"Thanks!" said Emma as she pulled Dan into a bone-crushing hug in which he hugged her back.

There was a burning sensation in Dan's cheeks which turned bright red, and he thought to himself, "Why does it feel so good whenever she hugs me or when I hug her? No one's ever hugged me before! Well, except for my parents and relatives."

"Emma!"

She pulled out of the hug, and both began to blush and thought to themselves,

"Why are we blushing? We just met, and we're supposed to be heading to school!"

"Hello? Earth to Emma?" Dan said when Emma was daydreaming. "Oh, sorry"

"Don't worry," Dan assured her.

"We're supposed to be going to school, and we don't want to be late!"

"Okay, let's go!" and they did.

After they got to the school, Dan tugged on Emma's arm and said, "Emma?"

"Yes?" Emma answered.

"I don't have any friends right now, and I was wondering if you can be my first," Dan said, as he started to cry;

Emma felt sad that the guy she ran into thought he had friends. But, apparently, she was wrong.

"Why? I'm sure you have a lot of friends from last year."

"That's the problem." Dan said, "You see, over the summer I was having a great time with my friends as we went out to a party. Then, suddenly, I accidentally knocked over an ice sculpture which caused a fight that I didn't want to end up in. Ever since then, They've stopped being my friend, and they keep bullying me electronic-wise."

Emma was in tears when Dan mentioned that they've stopped being his friend and are cyber-bullying him.

"Sorry that happened to you!" she said as she pulled Dan into a hug. Both kept crying into their shoulders for a whole minute until they heard a voice in the second-grade hall.

"Hey! Radcliffe!" yelled the person.

"What do you want?" said Dan, uncomfortably, as he is staring at the tall figure who looks to be about Six Feet tall, Long pointy front teeth, lime-green eyes, black mullet hair, and has the smell that stinks up a hotel.

"I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for putting you through all of this, including last summer. I really am, and I just want to..."

He starts clenching his hands until it forms a fist

"DO THIS!" he punched Dan in the face, and he collapsed on the ground.

"DAN!" cried Emma as she rushed towards him.

"HAHAHAHA! YOU THINK I'LL FORGET YOU THAT EASILY?! YOU'RE NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, AND I'LL MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE HATES YOU, INCLUDING THE TEACHERS AND THE PRINCIPAL!" "AND YOU YOUNG LADY! IF I SEE YOU HANGING WITH THIS FOOL EVER AGAIN, I'LL MAKE SURE THE ENTIRE SCHOOL HATES YOU TOO!" he yelled as he trots off to Class, leaving Dan and Emma behind.

Emma helped Daniel up and hugged him.

"We have to warn the principal, and we might need to stop at the nurse!" Emma said briskly in Dan's ear, "We have to! There's no other choice!"

"What about school?" Dan said in Emma's ear.

Emma got out of the hug and said to Dan, "Class can wait. Right now, there are more important things to worry about!"

He nodded at Emma thinking to himself, "This is the right choice. We have to tell the Principal and nurse about this! This cannot happen again!"

They run-walk to the Principal's office and tell him that a bully is trying to hate both of the kids just because of what happened last summer.

Luckily, when they were talking to the Principal, the Mullet-hair boy came into the Principal's office screaming, "PRINCIPAL! I'M HERE TO TELL YOU THAT THIS KID RIGHT HERE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED! I'M SAYING THAT BECAUSE-"

"Because you want to let the whole school know that Mr Radcliffe is not to be trusted, I know," said the Principal.

"WHAT?!?! HOW DID YOU KNOW?!" he screamed.

"I have cameras, sonny. See for yourself," he said calmly. "Also, it was Miss Watson's Idea to tell me that a student [Dan] was being bullied. It's the right thing to do."

The Mullet-hair boy was in disbelief when he saw what he did to Dan.

"WHAT? NO! TH-TH-THAT'S NOT ME! TH-THATS M-MY TWIN!" the mullet boy stammered.

"Then explain to me when it says in your bio that you don't HAVE a brother or a sister?"

"Um... WELL, IT'S BEEN FUN! GOTTA GO!"

He runs toward the door, trying to get out, but a large cage is under him.

"GOTCHA!" yelled the Principal. "Lucky me that I was a Police Officer back in

my day!"

"You were?" asked the kids.

"Of course! Way back in my old days, I was fighting crime for nearly 20 years, and I even caught some robbers who were trying to rob banks or even steal cars!"

"Wow," exclaimed the kids.

"Indeed," said the Principal. "Now, I will handle this situation with him, and I will call the nurse."

Emma and Dan were walking out of the Principal's office, and Dan could see the Nurses Office and told her, "Come on, Emma, let's go!" and they did.
