Dateline: After 9:00 in the Halls

After they've gotten out of the Principals office and caught the Mullet-Haired Boy red-handed, Emma and Daniel rushed towards the Nurses office and to their surprise, she's still available for checkup appointments. They walked into the room to see a blonde-haired woman who looks about 30 years old with hazel-bright eyes checking her papers until the two kids walked in.

"Hello kids! How can I help you today?" said the nurse

"Dan might need some help because a bully just slapped a punch towards his jaw!" Emma cried

"Bullies" the Nurse thought "Of course you can't trust bullies! They're always trying to spoil the fun!

"Its alright! People like them needs a bit of logic into them!" said the Nurse "Could you please set him down Miss err...."

"Watson but please, call me Emma." she answered

"Ah yes..." said the Nurse "Emma, would you please set him on the bed. I'm afraid that this will take longer than usual."

"What! Longer Than Usual!" screamed Emma "Oh, I'm staying with him until he feels better and there's NO way you can't take me away from him!"

"Have it your way" said the nurse in a defeated tone.

Emma motioned Dan onto the bed and told him to lay silently while the nurse does the best of her ability to keep him safe.

"You'll okay Dan." Emma said calmly "As long as you're with me, you're safe and Ill defend you no matter what we are facing!"

"Thanks!" exclaimed Dan silently "I'm so lucky to have you as a friend! Well ONLY friend."

"I'll always be your friend Dan." Emma said as she hugged Dan carefully not to break any of his bones. Dan hugged her back only this time, it was tight meaning that he's fine. Emma took note of that and hugged Dan even tighter.

"Okay, Dan lets see what I can do" said the nurse as Emma gets out of the hug.

She does a test on Dan for concussion protocol and unfortunately, it is ruled by the nurse and she says that Dan has a concussion and will miss a month from school.

"Don't worry! There's still a way for you to keep up with your schoolwork!" said the nurse and hands Emma a thick purple folder

"Emma, I'm giving you this folder for Dan's homework only. At the end of the day, go over to Dan's teacher and ask to see if she has his homework for the day. If you two can handle this folder with great dignity, I'll let Dan keep this folder."

"Will I need a name for Dan's teacher? It's not on the Folder." questioned Emma

"Oh, that's because it hasn't been used yet." laughed the Nurse "Here let me help you with that."

Emma gives the folder to the nurse and she pulls out a piece of tape and she places it on the folder.

"Dan? What's your teacher's name" questioned the nurse

"Mrs. Roberts" Dan said weakly and the nurse began to write Mrs. Roberts on the tape.

"Alright! You know the rules Emma!" said the nurse "Nev-"

"Never let this folder fall into the wrong students hands. Otherwise, I'm not trustworthy. I think I get it now." said Emma cutting her off

"Excellent Emma!" said the Nurse "Now I'm going to make a call to make a call to yours and Dan's parents saying that you two are out of school until further notice. Do I make myself clear Miss Watson?"

"Yes ma'am!" said Emma "Wait! What about Dan? When will he know?" she questioned the Nurse

"I'll let you tell him when the time is right!" the nurse answered

"Okay. Thanks!" Emma responded

It didn't take long for the Radcliffes and the Watsons to come straight into the school to check on the health of their kids. When the nurse told the two families that they cannot be in school until the time being, they were completely aware of what's happening to them and the bullies that they've dealt with. Thirty minutes after the two family members were done talking with the nurse, The Radcliffes journeyed to the Watsons house for dinner where they talked about the first time they'd met. After dinner, Chris Watson and Alan Radcliffe were having a brotherly conversation about British Politics. Marcia and Jacquelyn ignored the two men and they've talked about what ladies talk about the most: Fashion and Mall-Shopping.
