adrien's pov
it was rude to stare. i'd been taught that since i was a little kid. at the moment, however, it was impossible not to.
she probably thought i was insane, sitting in her chair and gaping at her like a total idiot.
she looked so stunning, though, i struggled to figure out how i would ever take my eyes off her.
not only did she look amazing, but the dress... the fabric overlapped perfectly in every place, the skirt falling in thin pink waterfalls all around her. i'd never consider myself an expert like my father, but this was beyond anything i'd ever seen before. work in progress? yeah, right.
the look, however, was missing one thing. i swallowed, hoping i'd finally regained my voice.
