A couple weeks of work and school pass. Dream and I go out for lunch or dinner a couple of times. I often end up studying at his house while he played Minecraft. Or he would come over to my place and we would bake together (and he would judge my cheap PC build). We got into a rhythm of balancing our personal lives and spending time together.

One day I'm finishing up some homework at his house while he lays on top of me and scrolls through Twitter.

"Let's go play Minecraft!" Clay says.

"I'm finishing up my homework Clay, chill"

"I knoooow, but we should play Minneecraafftt" he whines.

"You're worse than my 5 year old cousin" I say rolling my eyes, "We can play when I'm done"

"Finnee"

"All done!" I announce a few minutes later and toss my laptop aside.

"Yaaaaay" Clay jumps up. "Come on come on come on."

I laugh and follow him into his computer room. He boots up Minecraft on the two computers and we take our seats.

Dream starts streaming and welcomes chat. "Hi chat, I'm here with y/n again and we're playing on the smp."

I hear some nervousness in his voice, which I just assume is from worry that chat and his fans will start something about him and I. Since well, not all fans are welcoming to their streamers having female friends.

We both log onto the smp and join a voice channel on the DreamSMP Discord server.

"Hi"

"Helloo"

"Hiii"

"Hey guys"

And plenty more greetings ring out from my headphones.

"Woah, everyones on today huh" I laugh as Clay greets them back.

"So I did something off stream" Dream says mysteriously "and I want y/n to see it"

"Ohhh" I say curiously.

"Did you finally build a house Dream?" Technoblades monotone voice rings out from the VC.

"I have a house!" Clay yells as we all laugh. "You know, whatever, shut up Techno."

"It's aways away, we'll nether travel" Dream says.

We enter the nether and get to the roof, we then enter a boat and Clay drives our Minecraft characters across a long strip of ice for a couple minutes before stopping at a portal.

"We're here"

We stop through the portal and we're immediately in a block version of the fancy Italian restaurant.

"Oh my God you re-created our first date in Minecraft?" I ask stunned.

"Yeah" smiles Dream mischievously.

"That's so cute!" I squeal.

Most people on the Discord have muted themselves but a couple who didn't "aww" at us.

Suddenly George and Sapnap's Minecraft characters walk out of the block kitchen wearing waiters uniforms.

"Right this way to your table" Sapnap says as Dream and I chuckle.
