16. One for Two

Arc 2 begins!

This part involves part of the story of heroes rising

6 months later 

Hitoshi's pov

"Alright class, for the next month you'll be having a different assignment. Thanks to the hero commission you're being sent to a remote island to do hero work, Alone. this island has not had a crime committed in ten years so you'll be doing non-villain related work" Dad explained. Iida's hand rose like usual "WHERE IS THIS ISLAND?" he asked "It's by the name of Nabu Island, it's in the east China sea but it belongs to the Japanese government" Dad explained "pack your bags, the ferry leaves at 3" He instructed. Everyone filed out minus, Bakugo, Yagi and I. "No news, he's gone without a trace. the last sighting was him flying south-east 6 months ago" Dad stated with a sad look "we think he's hiding in China or Taiwan" He theorised "You three are going to be headed down that direction, if you see any evidence of where he went then email it to me" he instructed while walking out

We all headed to the dorms, the three of us walking in silence. we all owed Izuku our lives, in the literal sense. I went through the door and got tackled by Eri "Hey there Scamp" I smiled "'Toshi-san! Come see what I drew" She dragged me to her table in the common space. I looked down and saw 3 stick figures standing like a happy family. One with white hair, one with purple hair and another with green hair "It's of me, you and Oniichan, I cant wait to see him again" She smiled hopefully. I could hear Izumi beginning to cry and Bakugo trying to comfort her "I'm sure he'll come back soon" I smiled back at her. we all hated lying to her but we didn't know how her quirk worked in relation to emotions.

I drew with Eri for a few minutes till I headed upstairs to pack. After packing all my stuff into a suitcase, I grabbed my hero costume and capture weapon, putting them beside the rest of the classes stuff. "Erichan, I need to go for a month, Dad will take care of you till I get back" I got to her level as tears came into view "P-p-p-please d-don't" She begged "I have to, it's for school so I don't have a choice" I explained. she grappled to my body and tried hard to hold me down "Eri-san, we're going looking for Izuku, me and Katsu are going to find him" Izumi came to our side with another fake smile 

time skip

We all arrived at the island and quickly settled in. nothing substantial happened in the first week but the people there still appreciated our help. Most of the time, I was sent out to help with bratty kids or people stuck in high places. I was trying to catch a group of school kids who had taken a loaf of bread off of a girl when I heard it. Explosions. I looked down to the harbour to see the harbour being destroyed by explosions. I instantly called into the agency "Pinky, villains by the harbour, they've destroyed all the ships" I explained quickly "Wait what? what would villains want here?" "Doesn't matter, they're here and we need backup" I said while running towards the beach "Evacacuate the people!" I heard Iida yelling. 'this is bad, we've beaten villains before but they must have a reason to be here' I thought

As I reached the beach, I saw a guy who looked like a mixture of animals. "Move aside, we're only here for one thing and I'd rather not kill kids to get it" It shouted "You aren't getting anything from this island" Todoroki shouted back. I ran to his side and watched as the guy moved the cigar from one side of his mouth to the other "What do you want?" I asked. He looked me up and down before chuckling. 'shit, this guy must know my quirk' I thought. Todoroki got into a fighting stance while the rest of the class moved the civilians away. 

The villain moved forward and instantly got covered in ice. He instantly broke through the ice and continued walking forward "Goodbye heroes" He raised his lizard tail and went to strike Todoroki. A wall of flames appeared but it wasn't from Todoroki "Well now, I was having fun in retirement but villains never quit i guess" A voice came from the Ocean. We all turned to see Izuku wearing a torn hoodie and jeans, creating flames at the villain. "And who the hell are you?" The villain turned "I have many names, Kitsune, Deku, Izuku Yagi, Izuku Midoriya, the guy that's gonna kick your ass?" He replied with a smirk

The villain turned to Izuku and began walking towards him "Leave boy or ill kill them all" he threatened "As much as I don't care about their lives, I care about my reputation so I think I'll kill you" Izuku winked and lit his entire body in pink flames. The villain tried to dodge but Izuku made the flames become extensions of his fist. He picked up the villain and turned the flames White. "bye-bye Villain scum" Izuku grumbled and dropped the flames. "wheres the villain?" Todoroki asked "This place called hell, or heaven? Depends on how St. Peter is feeling" Izuku replied while shrugging "Now evacuate the civilians and be ready to kill at a minutes notice" Izuku dropped his flames and floated upwards "Ignore me and do what I told you to" He shouted before flying away

Izuku's pov

'Fuckin villains, never take a break eh? and it had to be the league, well allies of the league' I thought while floating towards the other noises. I saw the blood-red bandages and quickly dropped, knowing the next fight would be a big one. "Hey toilet paper, how've ya been?" I asked while dropping to the ground. "the league told us that you were in China" He grumbled "and I told them that I'd exterminate that quirk for good" I lit my hands on black fire and smirked "Shit" He grumbled and tried to run off. I shot a ring of flames around the two of us and quickly covered him in black flame burns. "Now, any last words?" I asked "You look like the bastard offspring of broccoli and white privilege," Mummy said while closing his eyes "goodbye" I chuckled and covered him in white flames 

"DID YOU JUST KILL HIM?" Mineta yelled "Kinda, now evacuate the civils and don't die" I dropped my flames and flew off. 'come out nine you knockoff bastard' I thought "Help her, PLEASE!" A giant version of Izumi appeared in the middle of the rice fields "there you are you son of a bitch" I shot flames out my back, launching me forward at tremendous speed. "I won't kill you" He nearly picked up Katsuma's face "Neither will I" I kicked him in the face "You" Nine snarled "Did you think I wouldn't catch on? It was pretty clear what was happening" I mocked "I will enjoy taking your quirk" Nine snarled and turned towards me. I saw Izumi and Kacchan behind him, Both just getting back up "Go ahead old man" I mocked "Didn't your parents ever teach you manners?" He jeered "Nah, they only taught me that I was a useless piece of shit and that I deserve nothing" I winked and yin-yanged (half black, half white flames) myself. 

Nine brought two dragon tails out of his back and brought them towards me. I dodged and quickly erased his quirk. I dropped my face mask again and shot white flames around him "That quirk shouldn't exist anymore" "NEITHER SHOULD YOU" Slice shouted while launching blades at my face. I shot white flames at her but she managed to hit and break my glasses. 'shit, shit shit' I cursed. I grabbed a blindfold and quickly put it on "Izumi, Kacchan skip the formalities and get your sorry asses to the castle ruins. you'll find a white panel door, you need to bring me the headset that looks like glasses" I instructed "Um mister castle, they're unconscious" Mahoro replied "You two know where I live right? can you do what I asked please" I begged "We'll try"

I heard footsteps and then came the voices "Hiding your eyes won't shield you from us" Yoichi started "yeah but It stops me from hearing any new voices" I replied "Why don't you listen to us!? we just want to help" En begged "You want me to go back to him, You want me to go back to the mainland. You're asking for me to be arrested" I yelled "Deku, who are you shouting at?" Kacchan yelled "none of your concern" I replied "You can't hide behind those glasses forever" Hikiage threatened "I can, I will and your dead so you can't stop me" I replied. I felt wind coming close to me "We want you to return so I can tell Toshinori the truth, and stop him from defacing One for All more than he has" "ever the revenge seeker, eh Nana?"
